I was just wondering... I have a Predator 2k-4 with a 314 original (not pre-cat) shaft. As far as I know it has the standard ferrule on it but the problem is that my tip keeps flying off. I have lost 5 tips in a few months time. First things first, I have had the tips put on by 3 different people from 3 different cue shops, all of which are reuptable and have done thousands and thousands of tips.
Its always the same issue, the tip goes flying off. I don't break with it and its never been on a shot that I was hitting very hard. I've tried different tips as well... Everest, sniper, kamui and moori tips and they just won't stop flying off, lol. At this point I am just wondering if there is any known issue with the material the ferrule is made from on the original 314 that just doesnt hold the glue/adhesive or anything that can explain why the hell I keep losing tips.
Any input is helpful at this point as this is starting to get very frusterating and expensive.
Thanks,
-Justin B.
