Like someone else said, I thought all the cues in the movie were Joss's? $14K for Schon? This must be the most expensive Schon of all time?

Anyone got a close-up Keith in the movie with this cue?

It wont be too hard to find out when and if Jennie comes on,she will get the 411 on the cue from the horses mouth,Keith! :D

The EBAY "seller" is full of ka-ka.

Per KM's note he states he owned the cue and that he played the part of GS in COM. KM doesn't state he used the cue in COM.

Wonder what else is embellished??

portraited? wouldnt it be portrayed? im not the best speller butttt. we should ask fatboy how to spell it he's pretty good:D just kiddin buddy

Don't know what cue was used but I can say it didn't look like that one!

Well actually he uses 2 different cues in the movie, first a PJ looking cue, then something in the Atlantic City tourney that looks like this one.

No, KM's note does NOT say that he owned the cue and played the part of GS in COM.

However, the autograph on the note is, in fact, Keith's. I would recognize his awful handwriting anywhere! :D

That is definitely the way he uses the apostrophes on "Color of Money." It is definitely Keith's signature.

As far as the cue stick, I cannot wait for Keith to rise and shine today, so that I can show it to him.

I will say that he has always had good things to say about Schon cues -- OLD Schon cues -- and this does look like an OLD Schon to my eye, but I am no expert. :p

Another problem I saw is in the listing for the Minnesota Fats cue. The note in the picture said Billy Schick apprenticed under Balabushka until his death in 1969, Balabushka died in 1975.

I thought the cue Keith used in COM had a green stain to the forearm.

This damn link has given me a virus on my computer.

I cannot post a link without having it go to something called "Rover" and on eBay.

HELP. Every time I post a link, it now goes to eBay and this cue.

I actually noticed that same thing. Keith did not use the Joss Balabushka look a like. That was the cue that Newman gave Cruise to play with. Doesn't mean it's not that cue...just that Keith McCready did not use the cue in the movie as stated.

Also Schick never talked cues with Balabushka, he did however order a few, and If memory serves correct he helped inventory the shop after his death. But as far as i know he never apprenticed that was left to Tascarella....(all plagiarized from the bluebook):D

I will wake Keith up right now and drag him out of bed of somebody, anybody, can help me fix my computer.
