I use masters chalk and I chalk now and then but not every shot...........

someone that likes kamui wrote that

If chalking is part of your pre shot routine. It makes perfect since. Chalking every shot with Kamui is messy and expensive.

Would be great, if he left out the kamui part.

Dale(recognized 'master' chalker)

One of my players (pro on the women's tour and sponsored by Kamui) does the same.
Uses Kamui ones a rack and whatever the house chalk is every shot.

She gets all the chalk she wants, enough to give me all I need,
but feels it's overkill to use it every shot.

And way to much of a mess.

I bet every dollar I have and give him the 7 out! Just ridiculous. I miscue about 1 a month when cueing in some awkward manner that deserves it. Tip maintenance is the problem much more than chalk. $25 dollar chalk, $200 dollar cue and a $5 game...gez.

I use kamui version .98
I chalk at the beginning of the rack and then,
Maybe one more time if I remember...
Not required to use any more

He's using the Kamui chalk as a base coat and due to the cost then switching to Masters for his pre-shot routine of chalking before every shot. I've done this myself to make my Kamui chalk last longer.

tip maint. problem huh ? i experiment some here at home trying different things. i have a cue with a g10 ferrule tip . all plastic in case you are wondering. i have played 10 racks of 9 ball with it not using any chalk whatsoever at all and never miscued. its all about the stroke.

you will give some one the 7 out based on they use kamui chalk? wow you must be a pro.!

25.00 chalk, 200.00 cue and a $5 game ? i have cues from 25.00 to 3,000.00 . i will leave the 25.00 chalk at home . play with my 25.00 cue for 5.00 a game if you ever in memphis. with the 7 out. i will take the 6 out an use no chalk at all.
