I'll put $100 on Crisp but only because I won't make it this year. Ned isn't as nimble as he used to be.

Sorry Dave, but I always save Good Photo's and that one was great, I laughed my ass off the first time I saw it, so it had to go into the collection. A little belated Dave but you did a great job!!:D

Philadephia cuemakers win the rumbles.
Their sandwich has 2000 calories.
I'll take on welterweights and under.

We're not cornfed. We just eat the beef that are....

<~~~I'm the only guy who is nicer on the forum than in person.;)

Yeah, all the steroid & growth hormone infused beef. I grew up there, too. I didn't catch any of the side effects, but my son is gonna be 10ft tall I think LOL

Seeing this cue shatter makes me think.

I like a long threaded wood tenon goingdown the handle.

Hi Joey, I think it is because the wood and steel/metal have different capability to bend and move, as well as the glue not being able to stay binding in those situations.
A tubular section of wood is only going to be as strong as the the core and the bonding taking place.
It breaks as soon as it is moved beyond it's yield point.
As been said before, cues are not made to take a lateral hit like a golf club.
