Just in case you weren't aware, Fran Crimi has been on billiard forums for as long as anyone. Probably why she stays away. Thanks for the suggestion. I just have more experience on this forum than Fran may, so I was just giving some friendly advice to her.

I think she'd be better served to "listen to her constituents", if she feels that she's a representative of the pool industry. Pool has gone nowhere under the current management. Tournament pool is dying. Professional pool is dying, or already dead and just waiting for someone to pull the plug. Meanwhile, the leagues are still filling the pool rooms on weeknights. One doesn't put up a lemonade stand on the freeway. You stick it right beside someone's yard sale. This isn't a "build it and they will come". You need to go to where the pool players are.
The fact that she thinks she can duck questions or comments from us because she thinks that she's beyond reproach, or because of her perceived "stature" is laughable. Anyone can be challenged on what they say. If you feel the need to post and run, perhaps you should just stay off of discussion boards, and have your own blog.
Men have traditionally alienated -- and been rude -- to women in the pool world. It's as if they think women have no worth or should express any opinions. Wish it wasn't so, but it is true.
Hopefully, this trend discrimination of females in the pool world will fade away before pool does.![]()
