Lots of cue testosterone here. A TNT Group (KOINNKD) Custom Satinwood double spliced with Ebony, Black Ringtail Lizard wrap, Black G-10 pin and Kamui Black tip. Highly figured and extremely dense Elk Antler buttcap, joint and ferrule and the most unique feature of all is the solid 6.3 oz Ebony shaft.
Definitely not a chick cue here.....

Interesting design. I'd have been sick to my stomache cutting that ebony down to a shaft. That stuff is expensive and tough to find nowadays in kiln dried pure black. Looks cool, though.
 
Talk about hitting a ton! Literally. Wow a 6.3 ounce shaft. Hmm..wonder if that studly thing has a nice forward balance point. :)

I second wanting to know how that thing hits. Nice looking cue and the elk antler definitely adds to it.

that would be a brutal shaft to build, and finding a pice that long thats suitable for a shaft I'm guessing would be difficult to find<---still a guess.


I would like to hit a few balls with it, I awalys like to try everything offered in pool, different cues, balls, tables, tips etc. Just to learn how things are. I know what I like and that hasnt changed much since the 5th year I started playing, after 5 years I settled in on most everything, but I'm curious by nature and this cue has got my attention, its beatiful as well. Congrats enjoy your cue and testerone ;)
 
Gotta admit I have not used it enough to give a true review. I hit it around without chalk for about 5 minutes and it felt great. The hit is solid but not overwhelmingly stiff. Even with the forward balance (about 21") to the cue it is a far from excessive front end weight shift. That is of course my opinion and others may feel differently. The shaft is incredibly smooth. I was a bit concerned about that. The Satinwood was the real beast in the construction of the cue. It's a very unstable wood and after the cue was finished we noticed a very, very slight bow in the butt.
No doubt that carving up a nice dark piece of Ebony was kind of a toughie but once I went in it was "all in" so to speak. The Elk Antler was hand selected from a whole lot of pieces by Troy and myself for density and grain. The joint was an extremely dense piece.
It is one cool stick and the Ebony shaft just looks and feels awesome!
I have it posted in the "wanted/for sale" forum but it does not matter to me if it never sells or if I never chalk it up. It gets me kind of giddy just screwing it together and checking it out every so often knowing it is so damn unique!
Thanks for the looks and the comments. I suggest that if you have an idea for a cue that you go with it. If you can afford it (or almost afford it) you wont regret seeing it become a reality.
 
Bump to show some of the different cues TNT has to offer. I've been working with Troy for a couple of years now and I really believe in the products that he is putting out on the market today. This cue is a fine example of creativity and a willingness to take chances. It isn't the fanciest cue you will find but it is one of the most unique. I'm sure that with some chalk on the tip a person could be quite comfortable playing in a match or tournament with it. On the other hand, it could sit in a case and still be appreciated.
 
A lot of ideas have popped into your head Rick that the TNT shop has made for you over the years. This is just another one of those interesting ones that I thought hum I have not seen that built before. So we took on the challenge in the shop and it came out very nice. The shaft makes for a very forward balance playing cue. The Elk Antler turned out very nice on this cue. Keep the creative ideas coming. Thanks Troy

PF that is one sick look'n cue...and the Elk Antler is the perfect finishing touch to give it that "look"...call it testosterone...call it whatever you want...it's MAGNIFICENT!!!!...and Troy ya did a helluva job executing what was in PF's head....well done....
