It took me awhile

I play pool for the fun of it John not for any other reason.

I was just trying to see if there was a way to get a big response, real fast on AZB. I have tried to be mostly positve since I started posting...It doesn't get a response...sorry some of you all took it so personal...I always should be taken with a grain of salt...

I am sorry for your loss. I don't know what you are talking about...If I can help somehow I will. Let me know John you know I am a very giving person. Let me know what I can do to help???

I would like you to find a way to raise some money using your pool skills to donate to helping Edwin Reyes' family through this time of grief. I don't really care how you raise the money actually but I think it would be great if you could do it somehow through your incredible talent.

Anything anywhere!

Vegas might be a great place for a charity fundraiser.

Or before while I am in NC, I am sure I can get myself and some other guys together for a charity event. If you can get us a location. I am here until the 3rd of May. I will gladly do a show or marathon for a cause.

Let me know what I can do to help...? You know I don't have a bunch of money laying around, I quit gambling years ago...lol

Then this is what I want you to do. Get with Matt and do Challenge Matches at the booth to raise what you can to donate to helping Edwin's wide and three children survive this horrible tragedy. I will talk with Matt about it tomorrow.

Glad to help. I didn't know about Mr. Edwin Reyes's contribution to pool, after reading these small tidbits about his life, I have gained a deap respect for him.

I feel honored that you would want me for this event. I hope I make him proud of pool players everywhere.

Yes, Charlie and me are real good friends. I wanted him to see it and call me. Then when he called and said "Hey jamison why?" I would remeber why I wanted him to call me.

That one was kind of a reminder to tell him about the other thread. He hasn't called yet...If it takes him a week or two to call...I would have no idea why he was calling...this is another way I use this forum...like little stick um's...He calls and says I just read your post, and then I remember it all...Do you understand?

You know what, don't try to understand me. Just move on and try to get a laugh. I have been told that I am impossible to understand...it's even more difficult if your me. :wink:

Why not contact Kelly, Val, Allison, and a few others in the area. Ewa is only a couple hours away from Charlotte. Lori Jon is pretty close too. John at the Green Room is a good guy and might be happy to host such an event.
Make it huge!

If I'm available, I might be able to do something with it...maybe video analysis of player's strokes...all money going to the charity.

At this point Steve it's just the formation of ideas. I am still waiting on information as to how and where to send any money raised. If anyone wants to donate money to my paypal for Edwin then it's paypal@jbideas.com

I'd prefer if you thought of anything at all to do that would help out Edwin's family. I will leave it up to you.

I will be hitting up everyone I know in the coming weeks for something. This has really rocked me and I have two goals, immediately help Edwin's family and two to do what I can to establish an annual tournament honoring his memory and ideals.

Thanks for offering to help and I look forward to anything that comes of it.

Jamison are you still going to be doing some type of charity. It would be extremly positive for you to do something like this and help out internationally. You know how deep these roots run, deeper than them boats we were talking about, lol. Keep it going and use my formation that I stole on life, Pay it Forward 3 fold......
