If it's not a Showman or a Tasc, I would have went with Scruggs, too.
I don't know of anyone else that could do a replica as clean as him.

Fred <~~~ that should cover about 23 cuemakers
LOL!!! I was thinking Richard Helmstetter, Mike Johnson, and Dan Janes, since almost every other usual suspects have been mentioned. The old shaft, the old bumper, and the green veneers made me think of Helmstetter pre-Adam.Hunter said:Missed it by that much (___), Fred! Could have also been Jerry, Bill, or Bob, too...

Hunter said:Ladies and gentlemen, we have the right suspect! John Showman and Matt24 have both figured it out for us. Steve Klein in VA made this cue. It is absolutely gorgeous and plays every bit as good as it looks (hits a ton, Jimbo!). The detail in this cue is phenomenal! The ebony is jet black and the maple forearm doesn't have a birdseye to be found. The ringwork really sets the cue off and isn't found in a lot of the usual tribute cues that I see on the market. We usually only see Steve's sneaky petes, so I just wanted to share some of the work he's really capable of... Thanks for playing! Rep points to anyone I can give them to (sorry ScottR, they say I have to spread them around a little first).
