whats the differences between ivory ferrules and other ones.

ivory ferrules are very brittle compared to the other composite materials of today. ivory should have a fiber pad between the tip and ferrule as a shock absorber. ivory turns yellow if left in darkness for long periods of time.imissedthe9 said:whats the differences between ivory ferrules and other ones.
I tried these a coupla years ago. They cleaned great, but the microfibers raised and opened the grain of my shaft, which I had to smooth down. The extra smoothing wasn't a big deal but I worried about greater risk of warpage and gradual loss of shaft material.BPG24 said:i used a magic eraser last night on my cues... Worked very well...
