jack and pam,his wife came by today
she told a story about jack that had us in tears of laughter

jack rented a canoe to take the wife and lad out for a beautiful
ride down the bazos, seems that without instructions jack went left instead of right toward the watefall

quick witted as we know he is,jach deserted ship before the falls, over went wife and the small child but they survived the trip

jack had taken high ground along the edge of the water on high ground, seeing that both wife and child had made it,jack jumped back into the water to be of further help

he grabbed the canoe to climb aboard only to turn the whole thing upside down and sink
all his picnic supplies went south, his child went down ,his wife was soaked,Jack himself
was the victim of verbal abuse by the loved one

sometimes its hard to be a hero

this this is the guy who made the Libra cues

this is the same jackpot that pulled up while a i was gamely playing the famous pool hustler,Pete Glenn
leaving me to take the whole bet and following bath

to explain this he said he thought I would get the right idea when i saw
him quit and pull up myself

when asked why he didn't tell me I couldn't win

Jack says"i know how you hate a knocker"

sometimes its hard to know what to do in a pinch

Taser?

Way to go Dean, another fun read. I had a Libra cue years ago but lost it to a thief. I remember a guy names Sanchez had been part of the company, maybe a employee or a partner? I cant remember for sure.

Johnny Sanchez and Jack were partners in the Libra cue

They were old time friends, johnny has passed away

Jack is a friend of mine and has been since he was in high school ,
we met at the pool hall

He and i saw the movie "The hustler" and it was down hill
for both of us

I remember he beat me in a straight pool game ,he ran 5 or 6 balls
and beat me out of lunch money.

Later jack was running over 100 balls frequently and I am still
having trouble running 15

Yesterday Jack left a check for $100 over here as a deposit to buy
one of my cues that I had loaned him.

This is a first, when I asked why,he said so I wouldn't sell it while he was playing with it

As often as he changes cues,I thought a long line of free cues would be perfect

Then he fell in love with the Schon Hoppe style with 4 or 5 shafts,he could not sleep for fear of my selling it.

Can you guys believe that?Afraid I would sell a cue that played good?

Setting the record straight

Time has obviously clouded my wife's memory. Now the real story. As we headed
toward the waterfall because of a malfunction of my compass,I quickly realized that
that the only chance for my family's survival was for me to risk my life by being
where I could pull them to safety. So after screaming SOS I dove headlong into
the shark infested river with my Bowie knife clenched between my teeth. After fighting
off all sorts of river monsters I somehow made it safely to shore. As I hollered
instructions and encouragement to them without which they would have surley
crashed and sunk they went over perfectly. As they floated in the calm water, I
swam over and grasped the side of the canoe when a rare title wave capsized
it, washing all provisions and young boy (who I saved by grabbing by the hair
as he went by) away. Now as I stood in the shoulder high water holding on to
the boy, I expected my wife to swim over throw her arms around me and praise
me for all I had done, she stands there glaring at me and says (and I will never
forget it, because it cut to the bone) " What the hell is the matter with you, do
you have s--- for brains". Boy oh boy,
jack

Regular people just don't understand genius.

Sounds like this jackpot guy plays a few balls better than you. Also sounds like you may have a bit more lettuce the J-POT. Please dont sell Jacks favorite cue:wink:
