I saw a post online he was deported from LAX. I don’t want to spread rumors. But shining light on them helps find truth. Anyone know more?

Roy's Basement posted it so I imagine he has good info.
Crazy! For those without FB, this was Roy’s post.

“Unfortunately what you guys been hearing is true. I am so heartbroken 😔. 💎is like a family with us, a brother to Coach Alex and the main man at the Basement. I am with family and friends right now doing dinner at a restaurant but I will update you guys some more and fill in to exactly what went down. I feel like I need to say alot for the others to be warned.

DD asked me to make this statement as he is so tired and resting now back in a hotel in the Philippines and to put salt to a wound, he is being quarantined for 5 days.

Homeland Security 2️⃣➖0️⃣ Roy’s Basement”

I know online a lot of people assume someone is dropping a dime in these players. I just assume Homeland Security had better computer systems and stricter policies these days. Probably nothing more than that.

Nobody needs to drop a dime! They weren't picked up by an ICE squad.

Orcollo and Aranas were deported when trying to enter the US. Orcollo was deported for exceeding his visa duration limit on his previous visit. I haven't heard if Aranas was the same.

You can't fly into or out of any country without the entrance/exit dates being recorded.

According to the immig. lawyer i talked to they almost always hit you on the way back in. Orcollo was tagged for a total stay time violation not just on one visit. There is this nebulous/non-stated rule that you are allowed a certain % of time here vs. time back home. Its up to each immig. agent to determine on-the-fly just what this total time is. Insane.

I don't know if they even have computer data on visitors .
The passport has the date stamps of entries and exits . I think they only go with those .
When i flew in to visit my sister, the Customs guy asked why i wasn't staying at the same place i had when i had made the same trip three years earlier. I was surprised! Since then I've noticed that whenever the customs guy was asking me questions he was looking at the screen as if comparing my answers to what i might have said on previous visits.

You can run but you can’t hide.

I don't know about the US but I have experience with the japanese immigration system which is also quite strict.

I used to fly to Japan (before I moved here permanently) every year and spend 6 months here and then 6 months in my home country.

I did this 5 or 6 years in a row. I wasn't doing anything ilegal and I was always staying within the limits, never overstayed or anything.

Then on my last entry the immigration officer started questioning me and asked why I come to Japan so often.

I answered that I love the country and I also have a girlfriend here.

He wasn't satisfied with my answer and said that what I'm doing isn't normal and this time I wouldn't be allowed to stay 6 months "you'll have to return to your home country after 3 months this time".

The guy got very angry, even though I did nothing wrong. I spent a lot of money in Japan, they should be thankful..

Anyway, he didn't know that I was getting married this time. So he let me go and I got married and then I received the spouse visa.

I wouldn't be surprised if they refused entry in the future if I didn't get married. Even though what I did was perfectly legal, they didn't like it.

The system is highly regulated and I can tell you right now, the best way to get rid of mistakes is to get rid of the human element...so there is very little discretion in the acts of the immigration/ customs process.

people have to realize what they can do in their home country or what they want how things to be isnt what happens when you go in to another country with different laws. and those laws are sometimes enforced more on visitors or immigrants than their own people.

And just acknowledging awareness of consequences isn't enough...

If the Man says you got a certain amount of days, you better be counting days.

I could be remembering wrong but I seem to be recalling that the "too much percentage of time spent in the US" theory came from people who had no direct knowledge and were just on here speculating about why Orcullo might have gotten the ban, but a couple of people with direct knowledge from Orcullo said it was because he overstayed his visa and did not leave by the date of his visa expiration, and that this wasn't the first time he had done that and so it came with a 5 year ban this time.

Incorrect! Dennis never over stayed his visa! Garczar got it right in his post #5. It was a decision based solely on the descretion and judgement of a Homeland Security officer. They have a lot of leeway in making these calls and it can vary from entry point to entry point.

Follow the rules , if I don’t follow the law I go to prison , we have laws for a reason …… life goes on , start putting in time on the table yourself!!!!

Jay or others in the know, do you know if similar happened to Efren in the early 2000's? I see he missed 4-5 DCC's in a row at that time, and I vaguely recall he had some visa troubles at the time.

Wrong. He was told that in the last 4yrs he'd spent 65% of his time here vs. back home. There is NO set regulation on this. Immig. guy i talked to said to be safe one needs to spend roughly as much time home as here i.e. 6mos. stateside, 6mos. at home. Its the quik turnarounds that get you red-flagged. Problem is how these 'red-flags' are handled is up to the immig. officer. Better hope he/she didn't have a fight with the spouse/s.o. or you may be fk'd. Except in these situations there is no set law/regulation. Totally up to the whims of whatever immig. officer you get. complete bullshit.
