Jay with hair

That guy looks like he's got more hair than me! :o

One of my brothers started losing his hair in his thirties. Some men in my family inherited the gene, I guess. Initially, he tried to do some comb-overs with what little thinning hair he had left on the side panels. It wasn't as bad as Trump, but it looked kind of funny. :D

After some time passed, though, he began to get his hair trimmed short, instead of having the side-panel comb-overs. He looks like a million-bucks today. He works out 3 hours every day. Three years older than me, but he's in much better shape than me physically, looks and feels GREAT! :)

I'd trade my whole mane for a physically fit perfect body. Old age is hell. :(

Jay has the physique of a young man, like my brother. Must be nice!

hi JAM,

yes I do agree getting old sucks ,more than anything period. I'm ols enough to know what the statment "Youth is wasted on the young" means. a 60 or 70 old brain-in good working order in a sexy 22 year old body, man or woman would be ideal for both men and women, just dont cross them up that wouldnt be a ptreet thing. :p

hope you have been well

To tell you the truth, life is just one big deprivation for me today. I'm supposed to not smoke cigarettes, but I do. I shouldn't drink too much caffeine, but I have a triple-shot latte every single day at Starbucks, the highlight of my work day, in addition to several cups of coffee in the morning. I'm supposed to restrict my red meat intake, but I like getting me a couple Porterhouses or Ribeyes at least once a week. Chicken and fish is usually the norm in my household, but there are only just so many ways you can dress up a chicken.

I wake up at 4:00 a.m. every morning, no matter where I am, and by 12:00 noon, I need to take a nap, just like my father used to do when he was in his sixties. My get-up-and-go has definitely got up and left when it comes to housework. I'm lucky if I can do the dishes every evening after cooking dinner. Most times, they lay there until the next morning.

Truth be told, I'd shave my head bald if I could be physically fit and have some energy. This old gray mare ain't what she used to be! :p

I've got a great idea. Put the "Ether" to work! I want to see a photo of Keith in the kitchen washing dishes. That would be an all time classic.

I know how you feel. About three or four in the afternoon, I need my little nap. After that, I'm good until 2 AM or so. And like you, I wake up at 6 AM too. Old age is a bi-ch, but considering the alternative, I hope I get a lot older.

I played the 200 Grand Guarantee last Sunday on Ultimate Bet for the first time. Came in 34th out of 981 players for $900. I had a shot at it. Paid 45K for first.

It took me a year or more to get him to take the trash out without being asked, which was a great accomplishment. He's not quite the handy man that some guys are. When we tried to clean out the gutters one year, poor Keith got stuck on the roof, with all four paws glued to the shingles. He couldn't move and looked like a cat stuck in a tree. It took a long time to get him down safely. Now we just hire someone to clean the gutters instead! :D

Keith hasn't been having much luck lately. He'll reach the final table and then get pocket Aces cracked on the river by a "donk," as he calls them. Those Internet poker sites aren't at all like what we witnessed last night with the WSOP, the way the cards flop. He's still ahead, playing on their money, but he hasn't made a big score for a while now. I hope he's due. Congratulations on your 900 balloons. That's very, very cool! :)

JAM,
That is a great word picture. Keith "The World Famous Icewater for Blood Gambler" McCready, stuck on a roof. If you had video, you could YouTube it under the caption "A Keith on a hot tin roof".

I have a funny story along those lines. My dad left when I was 11 and I don't remember him being around much before then anyway. So I never learned about mechanical stuff or how to do a lot with tools and such.
Anyway, my wife picked out a new lawn mower that she told me would mulch our grass. When I was cutting the grass, she came outside after about an hour and asked me how things are going. I said "real good." She asked me if I emptied the attached bag from the mower yet and I said I didn't so far. She said I had better. I couldn't get it off, so she helped and the bag was empty. Here, I didn't know I had to open the plastic fold thing under the bag before using the mower.
I don't even know if that makes sense reading it. But I will bet I'm worse than Keith when it comes to mechanics and math. That part of my brain never developed.

Lol

Terry

I hate to say it but if you have a mulching mower the idea of the mulcher is mainly not to bag the clippings but rather have the mulching effect let the clippings on the lawn. It's not to say you can't bag the mulched clippings but by bagging you sort of defeat the purpose of the mulching. See you have more sense that you thought you had by leaving the plastic gate between the mower body and the bag. LOL

Kevin

By the way back on topic of this thread. If I were Jay I would use the photo that fatboy provided the link to for my avatar.
That picture sure does resemble Jay.

This is a guy, who would leave his dirty clothes behind in the motel room when we were leaving town. He would rather buy new clothes in the next town, than go to a laundramat or drop them off at a cleaners, and have to wait for them.

Keith would have me stop at a thrift store. Go in and find a pair of pants and two or three shirts and he was good to go for another week. If we made a score and he had a grand or so in his pocket, we would actually visit a K Mart or J.C. Pennys.

I found this one on yahoo....

Let's see: You're smart, you work and make good money working. You love pool. You still cook dinner every evening...........................

For a guy that has given nightmares to so many, Keith should get on his knees and thank his lucky stars that his dreams came true. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Biggest score - 25K.

Worst scare for me was any time I was in a casino with Keith. If I fell asleep, my whole bankroll was in jeopardy.

Funniest time. EVERY DAY!

I will elaborate on these stories in my book. There will be a chapter devoted to Keith.

Kevin,
I think I understand what you said.
I'll tell my wife about this information. She always says she the smarter of us two.
Thanks,
Terry :)

Hopefully you have physicals

If not, you might check for diabetes as those are tell tale signs. I had it for 7 years before I found out. Did lots of damage.
