This case has been a long time coming but it was definitely well worth the wait, i love John's 4x8 Butterfly Cases and i genuinely believe there is no better way to travel around carrying 4 cues than using his butterfly cases cos they are so comfortable to use. I've had my other JB 4x8 Butterfly Case since 2011 and it's travelling all over the world with me which i shared on this page awhile back.

I supplied John with this elephant print leather, so yeah it's not real elephant hide but it's real leather made to look like elephant hide and i think it looks real good as it's more than just pressed leather, it's got texture and tones plus they're thick yet soft. So i had two different colour of this leather sent to John, Grey is used for this Butterfly and the other Tan Orange was used on this Bazooka.

Anyway back to this Butterfly case, it turned out gorgeous and i have Karen to thank for it. Originally this case was suppose to be just a regular butterfly case albeit with some minor upgrades such as extra protection around case and extra rubber protectors on the base but when i saw Ralf's (big-tattoo) fully tooled butterfly case i concluded that this case needed some bling and tooling it was. So i told Karen about it and gave her free rein to do whatever she wanted. So lo and behold this is what we have here.

So this Grey Leather really looked like one of my shoes and that's why i fell in love with it when i first saw it...and yes those shoes have seen quite some mileage heh.
Yeah...i've been pairing my cases with my shoes like this Rusty Melton Case hehe.
The idea of the rubber base of this case was inspired from my shoes, john wanted me to rip my shoes apart and send him the rubber sole...wasn't gonna happen...

Haha yes, i'm counting on you for the Cem cue buddy

Thanks for the all the kind words guys, it's truly a remarkable case.
Most importantly this is a very easy to use case and it's so comfortable to use even when fully loaded.

Jive, that is the nicest case I have ever seen. Congrats with this one. John knocked it out of the park.

Karen did it. I had nothing to do with it. Karen decided on how best to pair Sheridan tooled veg tan with the grey italian nubuk elephant print. She did the work on it alongside her team.

I only got to see it progress and offered very little input.

I told her last night it's time to change the name to Karen Barton Cases™ :-)

Nice case there buddy.... Now go call Karen and have her make a new shoulder straps with my name on it & send me that case and I will send a Mobley to you. Trust me.... You will not regret this !!!! :D:D

Yeah Karens doing a great job and I like how the case came together for sure.
I hear the next case would be all you? Should I be worried? :)

The case will be called Entropy. I have to get off the keyboard and on the granite and then you will get it. The leather is cut and prepared, the tools are laid out, everything is ready for me, except me, I can't bring myslef to make the first strike.

I see it in my mind, letting it flow to the leather is proving a bit harder.

You should only be worried that I keep taking the AZB drug and slipping off into the ease of wordplay instead of creating your case.
