hell, if they need to raise money that bad then I will kick in $1000 for a starring role in the film. I can actually make a bridge and my love scenes with Jen will be spot on. Who do I call?
 
I spent more in quarters last night playing league. I don't think it is too hard to take a chance on spending $2.00.
 
It said a deposit of 2 dollars so when the movie is DVD'd you will each have to pay another 29.95 to have it shipped to your door. Just kidding on price but i won't be surprised if it's about 30 bucks less your deposit.

in this case, "release" is a vague notion. release of what? the movie on screen(never happen), the movie straight to dvd? STILL, you need buyers? if the dvd gets released, do you expect to see it at blockbusters?

if this thing gets "released", you'll find it online, maybe some pool site, or at vf 2008.

She hasn't answered any questions about the movie on the Internet in over 6 months that I know about. Check her forum on here out. The questions been asked of her many times. Johnnyt

i hope you jest,,,about buying in bulk i mean. and i hope you're weren't thinking about the tickets. they're not going to tour the country and play the movie in local warehouses, you know....just so'z everybody gets to use their free pass.
 
Today is the last day to buy so I took the plunge.

2 buck plus $1.50 S&H I am in for the princly sum of $3.50

I would have charged more for the DVD if I was making a movie the 2 bucks is a percieved low price so I am sure this limits the value of the movie in some peoples minds. I hope there is a movie. I do not know much about it.

However I read this entire thread this morning and I do not know what to think about all of the nits on this site. Quite a few of you people if you do not have something nice to say about something then I guess you might as well knock it is the their basic opinion.

I do not expect this will be the next Hustler which was probably the only masterpiece so far about pool. However if it is a movie and its about pool at all then I will buy it if for know other reason than to support pool.

The prepays can be paid via paypal so there is no way for them to know your credit card number to rebill ala KT.

No matter, I fired my $3.50 lets see what happens..........
 
A friend just got an email from Tony Palma;
the writer/director/producer of the film,
who stated that the DVD and film would be released "during the holidays".

He also said:

"We will be announcing a players registration on our website for a
9-Ball Tournament that will give players a chance to compete and
actually be shown playing pool in the movie "9-Ball."​

No, I thought I would sell the copies of the movies, for triple what I paid for them later. This way I could recoup my money get a little extra back.;)
I the deal go's the other way, and I never see the DvD's I am out a very small amount, I suspect it is worth the risk!!!!

Risk is what life is all about, and without it life would not be worth living!!!!:)
