I know I am posting this in the wanted for sale forum but I have to say this. I am having Jim Baxter build me 2 cues and a jump butt. I have to say that Jim has been GREAT. He has sent step by step pics and has kept me informed every step of the way. Not every cue maker can or will do that. I know that there are some great and very personable cue makers out there and I am not trying to put anyone down, All I am saying is that Jim is one of the nicest people I have ever dealt with. i encourage anyone who wants a cue built or custom j/p's give him a call or send him a pm. When he started and finished one cue he decided he wasn't happy with the wood and started all over on his own instead of just saying heck with it. I will never have another cue built by anyone else.

he is definitely one of the nicest guy in AZ. Absolute gentleman! Both he and christy are great people!

I met Jim a while ago, and I see him at a little cue swap meet sometimes. A great man to know for sure. He does great work also. Rod.

Jim is definitely one of the good guys out there. I have made many a deal with Jim and still recommend and advertise his services.

I couldn't agree more with everyone!! Now-a-days it's hard to find good customer service. Jim not only does that but goes way beyond!! His work is impeccable!!!

add one more for me.

I purchased a Barn Cue with some changes from Jim and he went over and beyond to get it right. The matching J/P were the final notch from a great guy that kept me informed all the way thru, can't say that about every cue maker and some you don't hear from at all.

I've purchased a set of J/P from Jim and Christy prior to the cue so I knew the workmanship that I was getting was going to be top notch and it didn't fail.

I will def look to Jim when I get the itch for a new cue.

Keep up the great work Jim, Christy and Jim's Wife, I keep forgetting her name, sorry Jim.

All said about Jim is true

Yesterday (10/7) i decided to take a day off work and drive to Buckley,Wa and meet Jim in person.

I live in Portland, Or and it is about a 3 hour drive (if you dont stop at the casinos :p). All i can say about the man is what everyone says is absolutey true.

Very nice person and some beautiful cues in progress.

He took the time to show me some cues with woods I have never seen before, and man what a beautiful place to be able to build cues and of course his beautiful joint protectors.

I left my Pete Margo Bullit sneaky with Jim to make me a nice shaft and i have no doubt it will be perfect.

Jim.
If you read this, thanks for taking the time from your busy schedule.I look forward to doing more business in the future.

Shaft

I just got the shaft Jim Baxter made for my Bullit and it is just as I expected.

Jim's attention to detail when making my shaft was exceptional.

Jim took his time to find me a nice piece of maple and it was worth the wait.

Jim. Thanks for the great job.

Don Iverson....
