No worry there Terry, same ole crap, new day. Not getting myself in any hole man, i got a few wrap jobs , was part of the Indiana tornado area, no electric, family member was in the path, kinda had other stuff to do. I have contacted all I believe, and we are good, some have been mailed out, some are still here. But safe.
Not my style to give details, but some of u others need a life. Ur after me, ur after Eric Crisp, was Kevin Varney, and several others. This is a major reason I stopped taking orders. Cause some of you pay a small deposit, and somehow think you now own all of our time. We are supposed to jump and give updates every day, take massive amounts of pics at least weekly, call and update, text where we are on the cue, face book pics of the cue and post it to your wall, I could go on and on.
Know why?
Cause I have had each and every one of these requests asked by folks. Now do not get me wrong, 99% of all my customers combined are great folks and have become friends with many. But it's the 1% that made me decide to make what I want to build and work at my own pace.
In a way it is sad. No cuemaker is perfect, and yes some are better than others business wise. But I think customers forget we are human, we have lives outside of cue making. I mean when you receive calls in the late evening, middle of the night, early mornings, come on folks, would you answer a call that has woke up ur family to answer a cue question at 4 am and be super cheerful? And sometimes, we get sick, down, or just flat out don't feel good.
This is just my thoughts on why I made some of the decisions I made to begin this year. Others may see things much different than I do. But when it comes to me, this is what I say...
If you like my cues , thanx, if you don't please don't purchase one, please don't call me and say I love your cue and how it plays BUT, can you change everything about it that makes it your cue and make it shoot the same!
Thanx for letting me vent, and Spimp, thanx for the sun don't shine quote, very nice...
Jim
