Jim Lee owed work

Ok, here is the deal for you Tommie , if you would like your cue, or if any one wants there cue mailed to them as is or in it's current state, please email me at jimleecustoms@yahoo.com and please include your current address or the address you want them shipped.
I have done all I can to be nice, helpful, and professional up to this point. So if you would like your cues, let me know. I just set a deal in motion for another maker to finish them as I am unable to. Most are awaiting a little inlay work or finish of clear coat.
Want to go down your road Tommie, go right ahead. All your cues, items are here, so every one of you emailing me calling me a thief, crook, your cute little comments, I hope you have enjoyed it. You wanna talk about doing to me harm, bring it on fella's as I am done with you specific people. Many cues have been delivered, many are so close awaiting the help I have asked for from another maker. So if you don't wanna wait, give me the word and your cues will be in the mail. And no , there will not be any refunds on any of your cues, period!
Have a great night and take care fella's and please let me know what you want .

Who is the builder and how would I get in touch with him to prove this? Why do you wait until we have to say something before you say stuff like this? I don't want a refund, I want a cue w/2 shafts like I was promised years ago. That's all.

Come on Josh ( Powerlineman) spill the total beans here buddy. Dont just sound like a felt up school girl here.
The cue I am building I am building for the cue you said you were completely happy with , but had poor inlay work. I did that cue years ago, with a pantagraph, and it looked bad. But you said , I dont care Jim, I love it.
But I contacted you and said, please send it back, years, thats right years later, and I would build you a new one to replace it at NO COST!
So if you are gonna lay it on buddy, spread both sides of the bread will ya !

Thats good sir, I state all of this cause between emails of threats and posts like Tommie just posted, I feel I need to because obviously emails sent to certain folks are unreadable and if I dont answer every single time, multiple times a week to you certain folks, you scream he's a crook, he is stealing.
So do I not have the right to defend myself? If you going to threaten, I can reply back as I have gotten 4 phone calls already of this crap tonight. 2 of them being from guys waiting on cues just like you that have understanding of the situation. So Josh and Tommie , feel free to give me a call and discuss what you would like involving your cues. 812-621-2479
Thanx

They have a whole unit just for internet fraud and besides I already spoke to someone a long time ago about it. It's not easy, and I'm not a fool! Why do you think it took so long for me to speak up. This is not a small thing. Just count up the money involved in all those custom cues that are owed. You're a real nice guy, thank you for the support.

Ok....well hope it works out for you, and if the FBI delivers please let all of us AZers know then send the FBI team to Bill Stroud's doorstep to get the dream cue that he owes that's causing all the drama round here, maybe if we can get the FBI to appoint a "custom cue delivery enforcement agency" we can cut custom cue delivery times down to months instead of years....

Jim,

I'm not sure you want to go that route either. Yes I was being nice and didn't want to hurt feelings when I said what I did considering I could have and SHOULD have slammed you for shitty inlays on my first cue, especially for the Sharpie drawn notches on the diamonds. Care for me to go on? How about the missed deadlines on that cue? And I know my nephews cue is coming up too so I'll bring up the house cue you converted for my very young nephew that you did for me for nothing, but that doesn't make up for the shitty work on cue #1 and the almost two year wait on cue #2. You simply had a guilty conscience about that cue and that's why you wanted it back as The King called you out on the crabby work after I got it.

So Jim, tell us why you can work on your truck and tear it apart yet you can't finish a cue/s that you have missed about 10 deadlines on??????

No more phone calls from me with it ending with bullshit empty promises like the past two years when I actually took up for you. Whatever you have to say you can say here in front of AZ so there is no "he said-he said" crap anymore.

That's what I thought, ignored just like my question to you on Facebook BEFORE I came back to post here.

And I hope you are not trying to make everyone think I've sent ANYTHING threatning you because you couldn't produce anything of the sort as any phone calls. I've been more than patient with this.

So let's be men and talk right here in front of everyone as I can handle it. Who is the cuemaker that is going to finish my cue? Tell everyone how I've waited for at least 20 months (roughly, after 2 good deadlines with one in an email promising last October then one thread here on AZ for everyone to see) and this is the FIRST time I've spoken out against you. I've been more than fair to you.

So let everyone know how much of an asshole I am and a whiner after you told me you seen nothing wrong with finishing my cue in October of 2011 so I could take it to Pensacola but yet I waited another 8 MONTHS to say anything else!!!!!

Josh, you are a total waste of time sir. Not my fault, all ur fault Jim. That's fine. Let's do all this in the open because you and several others have to have the attention and drama. I totally understand.
Bottom line with you proves a lot with me and should to many makers across the world. The customer is NOT always right, and if you do go out of your way and reach your hand out to make any and everything right , you just MAY get your hand chopped off i see.
And as far as the truck , yes I have an old truck that was my dads, and is now mine, yes it's being tore down and restored a lil, but for your info genius, I have a large family doing it for me as a special gift to me and I am sitting out on my patio watching, thats me being a part of tearing it down, and being in the sun to much effects my health issues. So, there, you caught me! I am a super mechanic screwing every one on there cues. Geesh !!!

There is a difference between assuring everyone that they get their cues.

to

"I promise no later than June 1, 2012"

Here's some advice for good PR....never promise anything and not in writing, as you did in the original post.

If money was to be refunded, I hope it would be refunded with interest. You are essentially taking these people's money and obviously using it or collecting interest yourself.

He doesn't care dom that's the thing. And me and tommie are not the only ones, we just finally had enough and spoke up.

And Jim, I see you still couldn't answer my questions. Figures. That's all I needed to hear to let me know I made the right choice in speaking out.

honestly if you wanted your cues so bad, why didnt you just go and get them. you know were he lives and there is google maps. also to make the trip easier they have planes, trains, and autos. Have you planned a trip to just go and get your cue. i would think this would be one of the better solutions.... do a face to face.

waht i said above is not to be taken as a mean way to get cues.. mean it as, be polite, get your cue and politly leave. nothing more.

There is No Criminal Fraud Here

Hate to say it, but the writing was on the wall a long, long time ago - when Jim kept lying about a loaner test cue supposed to be sent to me while selling everything else he could make.

Of course, the threads were deleted.

If Jim owes you a cue or whatever, you are probably better off:

A. Taking it back as is.

B. Call him and work out a trade instead, something that can be completed immediately.

C. Writing this off as a bad business experience and learn from it.

There is no chargeable criminal fraud here. For criminal fraud, you have to prove he took your money or property with the intent to defraud. Only a DA could prosecute, and it's just not substantiated. In fact, all these stories being told actually help him legally. From my view, his intentions were to do what he said he would do. His execution was what was poor. It would be simple to get a civil judgment against him, then much more difficult to collect. It's really not worth the aggravation unless it is something you are guaranteed to collect upon.

Anyway, everybody should get a grip on themselves, cool off, forget about vengeful ideas that are WAY worse than what Jim has done and ARE criminal , and get this resolved and get back to your life.

For example, I have a mental lifetime budget of $10,000 for "getting screwed by someone I trusted and shouldn't have". In both cases, it was a bad judgment on my part. Two were car deals. One was a con, one was a deadbeat. I probably lost $4,000 and both were around 25 years ago. Another one was an art deal from a deadbeat friend of my wife - another $2500 but my wife learned a lifetime lesson from that. It was a Mickey Mouse painting of all things. I figure it like this. I already have 3 things I can squawk about for the rest of my life and I'm still $3500 under budget.

However, losing that money probably saved us hundreds of thousands of dollars, because we treaded much more cautiously after that - not being afraid to say "no" - and so far we've managed to come out without a real loss since then.

Maybe instead of sitting on the internet replying to threads you could be working on some cues just a radical thought

Cue makers are not smart businessman and this is a known fact. A majority of them build cues out of their garage and have another full time job.

This one man show crap and making cues out of your garage is crap. If they are going to be taken seriously they should treat it more as a business.

For a business to expand, means the business would have more orders, that they cannot fulfill in a timely manner. Sure Apple can make millions of iphones with just one man but it will take 20 years before you get your phone. This is unacceptable....therefore, these cue builders need to start expanding and hiring workers.

Would it eat into profits? Hell yes but any good business model is to DELIVER their products.

What a dumb statement! Reason why people order from certain builders is they like their craft....would you buy a ferrari if hyundai built it?

It impresses me that so many of the people who jump into threads, this one, and many others with the superior information and ways to run businesses do not even have i trader. And if I was to guess, have never ran a business in their life to have any experience and or time spent to even have a clue of what they are talking about and or the inner workings of such business.
I have always taken full responsibility for being behind, so I make and or will make no more excuses for that to anyone. Folks that would like to come visit, please do. I am here all the time. Love to show you your cue and the work that has gone into it.
For all you blow hard, don't have a clue, this is what I would do if it was me guys that post in threads that do not have any thing to do with you, I have a few kites I could let you fly...And to the gentleman says if I was working instead of typing, you obviously did not read anything about this thread but the last few posts or have a clue anything about me or you would know how me and my customers are where we are at right now. So get a clue.
And to those who do, hang in there guys, we are coming around the last bend of this long train ride. Then the ride for Jim Lee will be over for good...

Jim,

Seriously check you Facebook and holler at me so we can chat one on one since it seems we're both calm now.

I hope someone will transcribe this phone conversation. This thread has been a great read and we need more material.

The word asinine comes to mind when you speak sir.You really must enjoy seeing yourself type for the utter joy of it. A sheer lack of I believe...
