Mike Banks sr. and jr. can play well. Sr. has won plenty of small tourney's in this area. They own a pool hall in Blue Springs MO.
Jr. has been pretty good since he got lessons from Danny Harriman. He is more of a money player than a tourney player.

Who won the Olathe tournament. Seems like Mike Banks, Jr. was in the final four? He must have been mad after getting beat by Jason Ash the week before in Wichita, that was the surprise of the tournament in Wichita.
I first came across Banks, Jr. at the tournaments held at Vic's in Hutchinson.
He's carrying 30-40 more lbs now.

In fact, in Olathe I bought Dennis Orcullo in the calcutta and felt real good about it with him having the chip lead on Sunday morning and then Bill Incordona informed me he had a bet worth about $2500 taking Banks to win it all. Sure enough, he ended up second and Dennis 3rd. Billy put the Jonah on me.

Ya they matched up and Joey played dead horrible. 2 hours earlier joey played a dead perfect set against Danny Hill for the dough but the turned around and played bad against Mike. Mike wins the first set and they flipped the coin on the second before I left. I was in the middle with mike so we will hear soon how the second worked out.
