I hate it when that happens...
Why? Like practically why would you care? It's just information which you can voluntarily skip.

If new information should be added to the record for accuracy then why should anyone care when the record is updated?

I don’t know what happened here, but it’s important to point out that a properly executed head butt can be devastating. My oldest son mastered the Irish Kiss at a very early age- they never saw it coming.
Correct. And I would never even think to do it to anyone. I am much too afraid of what damage I might do to myself. Despite knowing that the cranium is very hard I still have zero desire to headbutt any other human for any reason.

Finding out the good and bad indeed isn't stealing. It is what you do next that matters. Using the other party's design is generally over the top. Just looking at what a component needs to do then going out and seeing what you can do to accomplish that task better is fair. john's own words, "taking what works" seem pretty damning.

The whole "Homage" thing is pretty much BS unless the original makers are no longer in business and the design no longer available. I have several case designs in mind, as far as I know unique designs. I won't be silly enough to put the designs on a public forum, particularly not one with a member that proudly proclaims he takes what works!

The effort you expend to try and "catch" me is amazing. Well Edison tried and failed thousands of times before he finally got something right so you keep on trying.

Studying what exists for the purpose of understanding what works and what doesn't is exactly why humanity is the dominant species on this planet. Someone looking at what is and thinking that they can do it better is called innovation. You would be a pretty stupid maker if you didn't develop a comprehensive knowledge base of the prominent products in your field.

There is literally not a single case type that I have ever made which does not contain improvements over anything that preceded our version.

That you "need" to "get" me so obsessively that you cannot bring yourself to acknowledge the difference between useful innovation and poor quality knockoffs is pretty sad. It's cool though because haters are fans. Every attempted knock is an opportunity for me to speak to the audience using the opening you provide. And I really appreciate the opportunity you voluntarily give.

Each and every time I get more Google juice from the content generated through the conversation. That only makes me more money. So thank you again. You and those like you have been a part of our success through your toxicity.

Keep it up and know that your efforts, while futile, are nonetheless appreciated.

No doubt. What a colossal dumpster fire. I got plenty of popcorn/bourbon/cigars so plaease continue. This makes the MR/WPA pissing match pale in comparison. Any way Rogan could get these two in the Octagon? PPV would be epic. ;)
Not the octagon but I would gladly take him to task on a moderated podcast. Only he won't do it because the devastation would be total.

It does seem like a lot of smoke for not much fire! On the other hand, you can't so much as touch a person with a fingertip in an argument without it being legally assault, battery, or a similar crime! No injury is required. The catch is that without witnesses or injury you have no proof something happened. Perhaps john tried to headbutt him and he largely dodged creating no damage, perhaps john was just trying to get nose to nose in an argument and got a bit too close, perhaps it is all fantasy, all guesswork today and it doesn't really matter.

Back a hundred years ago I lived and owned a few businesses in a redneck town. I didn't go a year without three or four physical altercations, over twice as many if held to legal standards.

Technically I would have been in the wrong almost every time. I had been "sucker punched" a few times in younger years and learned the value of getting in the first blow. If a fight seemed imminent I tried to be sure I got in the first blow, or three. I had done a little backyard boxing and never threw a single punch. The key was either there were no witnesses or mine outnumbered the other people's. A few times police officers were standing there, police officers with bad eyes!

I don't remember the details of the incident with john and Michael if I ever knew them. I think I saw mention of a parking garage or other parking area and the witnesses were some distance off. If they couldn't confirm contact they were meaningless from a criminal standpoint. Might be handy in civil court had statute of limitations not almost certainly long passed.

If people are roughly equal I agree with the school of hard knocks, all of this law crap be damned. Best I recall john is medium sized and a bit of a roly-poly. No clue as to Michael's age, size, or health condition or I would recommend gloves, a tiny ring, and let them go to it! Once long ago I saw part of a boxing match in a twelve foot ring. That is a big change from an eighteen foot or bigger ring, they were always in each other's face and no way to run and hide. Of course MMA you can chase a runner down in the octagon. Maybe compromise, a tiny octagon!

If you believe nothing else about me then at least believe that I didn't touch him or try to harm him physically in any way whatsoever. I wish this was a situation where I had all the video from the casino to the parking garage and you all could see him attempting three times to get me to hit him.

your cases are top quality. so others will make knockoffs and claim quality. that is the way the world works.
may not be how you want it to but that is the way it is.
a company's product has to stand on its own and survive what competitors do and claim.
and many customers will willingly suffer quality for looks and price. that is the way of business as well.

Something about the layout of a stick bag. Less protection etc... #375 or so...
Sales must be slumping.
Buddy, sales have never been higher. In fact sales are so good that I have 43 people working for me now. Which gives me all the time I want to spend on anything that interests me.

Lol, thank you but this is misguided. Products don't speak for themselves. People do. And when competitors lie to consumers they can be and should be called out.

Wouldn't surprise me one bit. I tried to contact JB Cases for months and never had a reply.
Also tried to design my own on their website which doesn't work at all for Butterfly cases.
Ended up getting a 1200 dollar custom case from another maker.
See all is well then. Sometimes the universe works great and you ended up with what hopefully is an awesome case from a great builder.

You don't post the full side of the story. Just your narrow minded narative to feed your huge ego.
Nah I post every thing I have. 100%. And if you want to bet high that I don't you're welcome to. I am about the most transparent person in this industry.

I get the JB "hate" as he bring it on himself at times but...

I can't help but applaud his hard work! The guy is a legitimate American success story, who has overcome a lot, and has done more with his life than many who started way ahead of him. We need more JB's in this world, not less.

Now back to the Hanoi Open.
