John Henderson......health notice

I've known John for nearly 40 years. The news of his passing hits hard but it was no surprise. I loved that man. I'm just grateful to have spent a few days with him in early June at the one pocket . org members only tourney at California Billiards in Fremont CA. John and I split 1st and 2nd in the one ball one pocket mini (john finished 1st, I finished 2nd lol).

John will be missed by many as he was friends with all he met. Condolences to his family and friends, may he rest in peace. 😢

Wait a minute! You're "12Squared"? I never knew that. Great picture.

We first engaged one another in S. California, mid-seventies/gas crisis years.

Cardulo.....era. :)

I got to know him and Frank the Barber about the same time.
As life played out, our times together were important/real/kinda :), we often roomed together at events, John snored very little.
Johns another one of those people, like a good cousin, that you enjoy engaging life with.
He could always out talk me if I let em, often I'd tell em/STOP lol :).
I'll miss his ''cackle'' smirky pool room Smile, that few players have. It's old school.
I compare his great character/person (a character)....in many ways to another wonderful man/pool player from WI who just passed.

Thanks for sharing your stories. Sorry for your loss, and ours who just knew him through streams
and online.

tap, tap, tap for a life lived. RIP John

Rest in peace my friend. Met John in CA many years ago and played him. Always a gentleman. Talked to him many times over the years, enjoyed the conversations and the memories. He was a role model for the game. Will miss the phone calls. Prayers for his family. Loved the man.
