I happened to see in the main forum a thread on what was in John's cue case. He mentioned the case as well and it being under 100 bucks. I'm interested in finding a case like that one.

I asked in that thread, but no reply, I'm hoping either John or someone can tell me what and where to look at these.

thanks,

I believe John carries a Justis Pro Lite,

Here is the proof.

A Bag Case?

I saw John a few weeks ago at a Tiger event and he was carrying a bag case that carries 5-6 cues. Lighter for travel. He hasn't carried his Justis for a while. I think some players give them back to Jack, if Jack builds them for winning an event (US Open) after they have carried them for a while and if they want another case he will build them another. He does that for Reyes and Bustamante. You will see them with new cases from time to time.

I bought John's Justis Prolite. Though it's not the one pictured above.

This is like the one he had at the US Open in 2006.
Peace, Purdman

The one I bought has 2006 US Open Champion on the back under his name. Isn't that when you backed him?

Thanks everyone for the help and info. My needs are very little as would be the use. I ended up buying the cheaper one here ...

Their photos weren't the best but their prices were, considering free shipping.

I found better photos of the Lucasi cases at budgetcues when I clicked on the case, but their prices were a bit more.

I picked the cheaper one only because the pouch seems longer on the cheaper model and it seemed more useful. Plus I may have saved a cow  Its good enough for me. here ....

Jack must have added 2006 US Open Champion after the tournament. My case is the same case as John's except it says "2006 US Open 9 Ball Champions Stake horse" with my name and a couple small horses. I just helped him a little. I knew he was one of the good guys. I have never staked anybody in my life. I was just trying to help him out. I didn't even know he had run 400 balls. He placed around 68th in 2005. Do you really think I expected to make out on it? Chit Happens!

I have one of these and love it! You can't beat it for $40

I have a hard time believing that a $60 case could be made out of real leather (actual cow skin). I think that there are a few synthetic leathers that are labeled " Genuine Leather" which is just a trademark, and doesn't actually mean that it is the skin of an animal. Although it makes no sense, AFAIK its one of those wierd wording loopholes that is allowed by whoever is in charge.

Kind of like "all natural" these days.
