After watching the Mika Immonen Mastering Pool DVD set which is fantastic btw it gave me a thought, with the break being probably the most important part of the game & seeing that there are numerous threads about the break on forums like this one wouldn't it be great to have an instructional DVD in a similar vein to the Mastering Pool set with the Scorpion passing on his knowledge & experience regarding the proper mechanics & techniques you need to have when breaking.

Maybe this is something that Nathan from runout media could look into doing as his mastering pool DVD was such a success.

If you like the way Archer breaks, you should look at Phil Capelle's 9 ball book. He does a cool analysis with pictures of what he does.
 
JimmyC i'm not talking about wanting to break like archer but rather having him explain & show what having a good break is all about i.e everything from the setup right through to the finish & also how to achieve a consistent break with power & control.
 
JA and I have been talking about doing a instructional video. Getting Nathan involved is something I'd consider. I'll talk to JA later today or tomarrow about it. He told me he worked forever on his 9 ball break to get it right, his 10ball break needs some more work, SBV has is down cold but aint giving up any lessions.
