JohnnyT's "Hustling under the radar"

If you've been at AZB for any length of time, you can't help but develop not only friendships, but I real sense that you actually know the person when, in actuality, most of us only communicate here, over the phone and with emails to each other. And along with time spent here, you sort of get a feel for who's real and who's fake, who's helpful and who's a jerk.
But all that being said, no matter how much we think we know somebody here, so often, we get pleasantly surprised when we find out something we never knew about one of our friends.

John W. "JohnnyT" Terrell is one of my pals here. We got to be buds a long time ago while researching who was the Coca Cola Masked Marvels.
Since then, he has cracked me up with some of his lines. He reminds me a lot of Freddy Bentivegna...they both come off as hard boiled rogue bowery boys but they both really have soft hearts. Anyway, a week or so ago, I asked him if he ever considered writing his autobiography and he posted some smoke screen about how he's not all that important blah blah.
Then, he emails me a story he wrote entitled "Hustling under the radar", which was published as an Amazon short story! When I read it, and I'm being very serious here, not embellishing this at all, I was amazed! What a story! If you like stories of growing up hard and having to use your wits and own mind and ideas to achieve anything in life, you'll really like this story. Throw in the pool hustling angle and some other things that I don't want to let out of the bag, and you will love this story!

My only complaint is that it's not a full length book! If Jay Helfert's book that he's penning reads like this, he's got a winner also! If I had to rate this, I would give it a 5 star rating out of 5.

And I have to admit something else. Not that I ever thought JohnnyT wasn't talented. But if he hustled players anything like he hustled us here, he's something to be reckoned with. I never knew he had the literary talent he does. He comes off here like an old gangster, but man, can he put it together on paper!

Here's a link for whoever wants something great to read....

how to obtain without dealing with an Amazon account

If someone wanted to read this, right now...

And, had absolutely no desire or intention to create an Amazon account...

And, had a paypal account...

Would it be possible to purchase this immediately?

If so, what steps would one take?

Now that I think about this, I'm getting the impression I may have already read this.

Was this story ever available free-of-charge on the web?

I would have remembered buying it, I never forget a purchase.

Alternative purchasing method?

Am I to conclude that there is no way to purchase this
other than by creating an Amazon account?

If someone has bought it or wants to buy it they can link it here to AZBilliards to be free to everyone. I can't do it as I am under conract to Amazon for another month or so on that story. (Hustling Under the Radar). Thank you. Johnnyt

I don't think JohnnyT would approve of your suggestion. What, huh, who said...:o ;) ;)

Does anyone know how I can show a link of the story...it's in pdf. It's too big to copy and paste (17 pgages) and when I try to link to it from AZ it says it's too big. Thank you. Johnnyt

edited..... works real easy.
Just select the file and "accept the terms", you don't have to register.

You'll probably have to host it elsewhere. Or... see if the powers that be will post it on the site somewhere.

Sorry guys, I can't seem to make it work. Thank you for your help though...it's me not you. In some ways I wish they would have had computers back in the dark ages when I went to school, but on the other hand I'm glad they didn't. If they did I'd still probably be in jail...caught by a computer. Johnnyt
