Parica is going to win the US open this year(you heard it here first)and then they will put his name in the hall of fame,is that what its going to take?what do u guys and gals think, thank u!

I think it would be a very popular win. Jose recently made a nice showing at Turning Stone, so he's in pretty solid form.

a guy i shot with tonight had one of his old schons...... best looking cue i have ever seen

Thats a treasure, that stick has a whole lots of wins under its belt,if it belong to Parica,to me that would be like having a bat that Babe Ruth used to use!although Ruths bat is probably worth a little more, but not to us pool players!

You must not know Parica. It's not uncommon to have a cue he used. He sells them when he needs cash. Probably has never held onto a cue for more than 6 months. He once sold my friend his cue in Reno, and then he begged to borrow it back for his match. He lost the match and skipped town with the cue and the money.

Also you would think if the person is some what famous in pro pool and you loan him money and never got pay back:angry: JP??????????????? "LOST ALL MY RESPECT FOR HIM"
Personally I am tire of it.

p.s. I know he'll be at The Broken Rack this Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. I'll be waitting to collect.:angry:

Ha ha, yeah I'm sure you can collect after he wins a little dough there.

My point was not to air all of Parica's dirty laundry. I was just trying to point out that it's not very special to have a cue used by him. And those of us on the West Coast know not to lend him anymore money.

Hey, you are what you are, good are bad,so it not that wrong to let people know what they are dealing with, and then what ever they do with that info is up to them, your word is everything,if you word is no good then people need to know, same as if it is good, people should know!

I just got home from dropping Nick Varner off at the airport. On our way there, I asked him who he thought would win the U.S. Open this year, and he said it would be him. I guess we should call him and break the bad news to him that it will be Jose Parica. :p

Roger

I dont think Jose took the cue.I was there with him in reno and this is what happened, he got good cash from the tournaments but he lost it all in casino then he pawned the cue to the young fat guy and gamble again, again he lost all the cash gambling. We went home with out the cue bcoz he didnt borrow the cue again..ask your friend again Im pretty sure he got the cue.

Get in line. It's a long one.

How could you say that? Do you know people he owed? He always leave something when he borrow money..I know that he pawned his 1000++ cue to the owner of a pool hall for just 600.

@ABALL, if Jose owes you something go talk to the guy maybe he forgot, he is not young and forget something. He will pay you.

Parica is playing well and if he wins a couple matches today at the Markulis Memorial tournament at Hard Times, Sacramento, you can watch him play on the stream.

As good as he is playing, I don't think he has any chance against Rodney Morris who will probably win the tournament. They were trying to find stakehorses to put him up against Rodney for cash after the tournament, but of late last night nobody would bite.

And nobody will, The first match I watched Rodney play, I picked him to win it. He is breaking great and just doesn't miss.

I had to play him on the streaming table. He beat me 8/2 and if I played perfect (which I never do) I might have got to four.

I told him it looked like he was playing on 6" pockets and I was playing on 2".

We were playing on 4" pockets and he makes it look much easier than it really is.
