Hello Guys,

I have a question for some of you experts out there. I Purchased a Joss Sneaky Pete about 15 years ago and wanted to see if any of you could give me any details about this stick. I also wanted to know its worth? I have pictures below if they are good enough to be able to tell anything. I hope I posted this question in the right place.

Thanks in advance for your help

sneeky pete

Do you have the original shaft for the cue? If so the cue could be worth $250. to $300. sneeky pete's don't have joint collars.

Thats weird This is the way I purchased it brand new. I wonder if they replaced the shaft at the place it bought it.

Ok.....Cool I thought they might have changed out the shaft.....lol....When I purchased it it was still in the plastic with that shaft. Did these have any kind of distinctive model number back then?

Allmost every single Joss cue out there will have a black joint collar even if its is a sneaky pete. Nice Older looking cues Btw

Thanks for the info guys......Thats kinda what Im up against ftgokie like your friend I just dont play much anymore and am considering selling the stick to someone who will enjoy it. Its just hard to turn loose of something ive had for 15 years and its a good solid stick.

i've owned 3

the joss sneeky was the only cue i used for about 15 years. the black ring on the shaft is correct.
i payed appx $300.00 retail for the ones i bought, and have seen them sell used in good condition for $200 to $250.

When I moved to South Carolina I had one. Bought from a friend for $40, he got it on a trade. I used it for a break cue for a while, then sold it with the original shaft and a predator shaft for $250. Wasn't much of a player with either shaft.

I have bought two of those in the last month, and one was $125 with one shaft, and the other was $200 with 2 shafts. If you are wanting to get a real feel for the price, find them on ebay, and watch what they go for. I love mine, its a great bar cue. I bought it so I wont have to take a chance at dinging or losing my Scruggs at the pool hall.
