Hi folks. I have an opportunity to pick up a Josswest early 80s "i think" from someone and was wondering if i should pull the trigger. I'm unsure of the history of the cue and don't know if they ever faked them or not. How does this look to you guys?

The real deal. Anything under a G note is a good deal. If it's in good condition (it looks clean) and straight I would value it between $1,000 and $1,500.

Doing alright for a guy a hundred years old raising an 11 year old grandson. You doing
okay buddy ? Have you talked to Alfie lately ? I called him I guess at his carpet or
rug or turban or what ever the hell kind of store it is, said he was coming to Texas
but never heard from him. As soon as summer vacation gets here I will send my grandson
to stay with you for a couple of months. He loves cars, I told him Billy always has
2 or 3 really cool ones and would be more than happy to teach you to drive. No need

I remember a few years ago someone had a few cues for sale. Most were high quality including a Josswest which he as asking $200 for and described as a JW.
It made me wonder how somebody could come to possess such a nice bunch of cues and now know what a Josswest was. I let him know what he had before he gave it away but I still wonder how he came in possession of them.

Nice... One of the best hitting cues I've ever played with is a Joss West.
