What kind of joint do these have? Also can I get some weights? I am mostly interested in 3 and 4.

I have owned many cues, 100's of all values from $25 to $2500. Some played good and others better and the price did not determine that but right now the cue I play with is by Joel, JD cues are great. This cue is probably one of the best playing cues I have ever owned, I cannot think of any that hit better and that is why its my player today. I did have trouble with the finish since I live in Arizona and the shafts, Joel fixed it, if your in a non desert climate I doubt there will be much of a problem, since Joel redid it I have had no problems.

If I do end up having problems again I am going to just have a shaft made and the cue refinished here, I still make out because getting a cue with all that work in it for around $350 is an awesome deal. I have had a few of the top players in my area hit with my cue and they love it, they cannot believe the juice they get with it and the thinner butt also. Here is a pic of mine.

Lenny..I keep telling people that and they think I'm blowin smoke..I sold one to a local pro and he won't stop raving about how good it plays..I agree with everything you said..I also play with one of these cues and I have pretty much whatever I want in my collection to play with..People think there has to be a catch for the price..Well, THERE IS NO CATCH! Oh, and by the way, for that price there is NO IVORY either...

Too bad that rainbow cue wasn't wrapless or it would have been mine.

AND if that wrapless didn't have trhose little flowers at the end of every point, I'de buy that one just because you know I want a wrapless JD. I like my sharp points though, I don't like the little flowers at the end of each point.

I bought one very sililar to pic#1 and absolutely love it, plus Dan is a great honest guy to deal with. If you want a nice cue, between the builder and the seller, it's a win win situation, you can't go wrong.
