just bought a magic ball Rack

I bought one at SBE last year and I never tried it. It just sat on the shelf because I guess I forgot about it! Duh right. Well, yesterday I took it to the pool hall (always deserted so I had plenty of alone time) and I gave it a whirl on a table that is notoriously hard to rack on. Very very very fast and smooth felt. That 9-ball magic rack is unbelievable. Not once did I get a bad rack in about 40. Perfect rack every time and I mean perfect. In 40 games or so, only twice did I not pocket a ball. The magic rack just works. Now, I want to try the 8-ball rack. But, I can't get them anywhere here. Guess I'll have to have a friend send me a couple and a back up 9/10-ball one. I'm using them from now on.

This is probably a dumb question but does the rack cause a problem if some balls are left on the rack after breaking? My understanding is that you remove the rack after breaking but what do you do if there are still some balls on the rack?
Once in a while you will have a ball that rests on the rack, but its not a problem. I can make the wing ball 95% of the time with the Magic Rack! I love this thing, my break has improved 200%

I've sold a lot of them. They sell themselves when you rack a few times to show what they do.
When balls are sitting on the MBR, either leave them there until they are hit and moved, or (with agreement of your opposition), move the ball(s) off it by hand (like what the referee does when something is on the cue ball and the ball has to be picked up to be cleaned). F.Y.I.
AND they rack better than anything else out there especially on used/worn cloth as the plastic template sits ON TOP of the cloth and the balls do not touch the cloth.

Yeah, when I'm practice by myself or even playing with a friend (like tonight)... we just pick the ball up, pick the rack up and put the ball back down in as close to the same spot as we can. If two balls are touching together on the rack, we leave them until we can move the rack or move the ball temporarily.

Another question I don't see asked, is you posted that the balls don't touch the cloth, How is that even playing pool?
You rack the balls and they are supposed to be on the cloth on the table, not on a template above the cloth or in dimples on the table.

These really are the nuts for 9 & 10 Ball. They are also very good for 8-Ball but no good for 1-pocket or straight pool.

It's a great rack, indeed. It sucks that the period key is still broken on your keyboard, though.

The freaking magic rack makes me feel like Shane when I'm breaking playing 10 ball. I get the 2 balls behind the 1 heading towards the side pockets nearly every time and the corner balls are on track to go 4 rails into a corner pocket as well. It really ups the make percentage on the break (at least for me). Makes me realize how important a really tight rack is in 10 ball. I need to get one.
They were using it last night on the Womens World 9 Ball stream. Occasionally the ball would be resting against or slightly on the rack. The ref simply wiggled it away from the ball most of the time. I only saw one break where the rack actually moved. Didn't notice it cause any problems. Xiao Ting Pan was examining the racks but I never saw her once ask for a re-rack.
You guys know me as well. 20 bucks gets you the 8/9/10 Magic Racks set.
When using the Magic Rack the balls don't for sure all sit frozen to each other on initial placement. You still may need to examine the rack and perhaps wiggle a ball or two. But they will then lean into each other and give you a perfect rack. This process is not a hassle at all.
