just cheating???

impune the integrity of our sport?

Every week the NFL televises examples of missed calls on the field and the offending teams do everything in their power to get the snap off before the play can be reviewed. Is that looked upon as something denigrating the sport?

Is that why the NFL is doing so poorly?

Does anyone think the offender would be embraced by his teammates, the coaches or his teams fans if he called time out and shouted "hold it I did hit that guy early". Who hasn't heard the statement that there is holding on every play? Is that cheating?

I'm not in favor of cheating but the idea that things like that influence the opinion of "our sport" oh come on!

I seriously doubt if Ryan intended to cheat or thought he did.

If Oscar thought any of those things and did nothing he must have felt it would do no good to protest after the fact. I'm not sure but had he called it the decision would have been the shooters in that case I think.

I have know Ryan for a lone time and consider him to be a friend. I don't think he need to cheat to win a match. He plays pretty good as far as I am concerned. I have watched him play a lot of matches and have never seen him cheat or ever heard anyone say he has. Things happen and calls are missed in pool as in all sports. It just the way it is.

Of course he did nothing. He didn't call a ref over to watch a totally obvious hit or foul. It was an obvious foul that was argued it wasn't a foul by the shooter. No ref. no foul. But you look at the video. It was obvious.

I'm not going as far as calling him a cheater. I wasn't there to know what he was talking about at the table but from the video, it seemed like he realized that the 10b moved. However perhaps he thought that disturbing that ball with his cuestick wasn't in fact a foul. If he recognized it and admitted to it then a ref wouldn't necessarily need to be there. Oscar should've asked for a ruling there anyway.

i was the other commentator...nobody questioned that hit who was watching the match up close-alvin (who is a great guy)made a mistake thats all..anyone here ever speak first think later? im no big ryan lover but
oscar isnt new (hes played before)all indicators were that he hit the ball with the cuestick..thats all-its so many pages i forgot who the original poster is so ease up buddy i know it seems like a stretch but YOU could be mistaken also

i'm not trying to berate the guy, but cmon man. i like to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, but from what i've heard from my friends in upstate new york, this is basically typical of this guy. great player and best of luck to him in the future, but how can you not notice this?

First thing that i want to say to everyone that is talking SHIT!! I have done some stupid shit in pool but i have never blatinly cheated someone.Oscar gave me the shot because my cue hit the 10ball. If it was a foul he could have took ball in hand and that would have been it,but some people have to open there mouth and they were not even there because they have NO LIFE so they have to pick on other peoples lives so they have something to do with theres! im telling everyone on here that if u have something NEGATIVE to say about me PLEASE I beg u to just say it to my face and not on some crumy computer ya heard. Thanks Ryan and ty to all the people that know me and were on my side thanks again.
