It surprises me to see threads, about the pool politics that's happening in the Philippines, getting low numbers of replies or even replies that are OOT.
I guess it really is unimportant to most here. But when I take notice of suceeding threads I see how the turmoil here has a worldwide effect. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the proof of the pudding is in the eating? Is this correct?
Didn't the BCA/UPA issue come up after the Philippine issue? Doesn't the newly installed WPA 10-ball rules affect every single nation/player? This new game (new discipline added to the WPA) rules came out to accomodate the new World 10-Ball Championship franchisee, wouldn't you think so? Cause and effect?
I post here in consideration to all the pool afficionados that I'm pretty sure will be affected in some way or another. Be it inconvenience caused by new rules adapted that originated from the Philippines or organization restructuring that can happen. Organizational restructuring to counter what was seen happening here or just to refine existing leadership to avoid the very same revolution that happened here.
Considering the Philippines' Poolplayers' reputation it really is inevitable that the face of professional pool organization will change. How quickly this change will occur depends on the support that the people involved, in professional pool, will contribute. We already do get communication for people's willingness to contribute to this revolution, but the question now is when will they be comfortable enough to come out in the open?
Why do I post these here where it seems to not get any serious thoughts and replies? Well, this threads existance alone should be compliment enough.
