Now we are back to "what can I do for me, screw everyone else" attitude. That's what the forums would explode with, rightfully so, if Shane was in Japan instead of the Mosconi cup.
Hello, Shane could have played in both, but the team bonding thing was the
reason he didn't go to Japan. I think he should have played in Japan. IMO of coarse.![]()

Playing in Japan would have been better prep for MC for all of the team.
I wish he would have went to Japan and someone else would have had taken his spot on the team. He cant gain much from this team play, not as much as he would from continuing to elevate his game in international play.
The guys on the USA team are good players, but not up to world class speed and think they kind of hurt Shanes ability to perform.
These guys might all become world class, but they are there yet and we just don't have any players other then SVB that are.
Not sure what happened to Archers or Rodneys game, but they cant seem to bring it on a regular bases anymore?
Bonding is not a substitute for matching up against the most elite under high-pressure conditions.
Missing Japan was a mistake and a big one at that!
Lets be clear here- Shane stayed home for kumbaya time. His attendance in Japan WOULD NOT HAVE PRECLUDED his competing during Mosconi Cup.
I guess someone on here knows SVB?
Just exactly what is is that makes SVB so uncomfortable traveling?
I follow him on FB and he seems to be enjoying himself on his travels, but he does not manage to transfer to his playing.
