I could be wrong, but I believe they've only met twice in UPL finals with each one winning convincingly.

I think that Bergman is a monster barbox player, but Tom is a bit better. The approach is a bit better coming from English pool and his mental game is stronger. The end result reflects this.
True, but NO top athlete in Any sport is FAT....
Have em play any player in top shape over 4 rounds....(Golf/Comparison) four days straight.
Ronnie O'sullivan ain't overweight, any great player in ANY sport is in SHAPE and not round.
Now if this man trimmed down about 40 lbs, then matters change dramatically.

Is that not just tracking his winnings in America? He has won loads in the UK (though I can't find any site that puts a monetary value on it). Hell he won £30k just for his money match against Ceasar Chandinga (one of the top African players).
Still is a bit embarassing for Bergman, not because Cousins isn't good, but because he predominantly plays on a completely different table with a cueball smaller than the object balls.
Clearly Cousins is a great player, but it's super embarrassing for Bergman given the all out PR campaign being waged here and elsewhere online to get him on the Mosconi Cup team. We are told that Bergman is a barbox specialist and he isn't even beating the Euro players at that, let alone people like Filler, FSR, Shaw, or Zielinski on a big table.
USA needs Devine intervention for Mosconi cup.

I've seen many great overweight bar box players beat top players, often with the right mix.
But put em in the trenches, playing like the PGA.... playing over four days, my moneys easily on JB.
I've beaten many great players in the long haul by being likely the first player in the US to work out just for the game and the win.
It comes from my Olympic background and mindset of what it truly takes to be the best ini any sport.
Ronnie O'sullivan doesn't have an overhang.
Nor did Rempe, or Mosconi, or Crane.

Buddy Hall did pretty well for a fat guy. Among many victories, beat a fit young Gold Gloves boxer to win the US Open in 1998.

Not saying fitness doesn’t matter. And Buddy and Miz had their careers shortened by the bulge.
More so than anything it probably comes down to the break, a little bad luck and they could find themselves down by 6 games. With no dirty combos the break and opening shot availability are critical. It was even worse when the 8 did not count as a ball down early in UPUSA.
I see plenty of great chubby NFL players. I would guess that that 60 minute football game is every bit as exhausting and more punishing as a tour weekend unless you are paired with Happy Gilmore.

To be fair, AZB also says Gareth Potts has < $150k earnings and Ronnie O'Sullivan isn't even listed. I wouldn't use AZB as a source for anything other than American pool.
