A small town kid from Alabama gave David all he could handle and some this past weekend. The kid is a little wet behind the ears as far has the whole set up goes, but he makes up for it on the table. Justin had to have been the straightest shooter I've ever seen. If you leave him an inkiling of a shot with a ball in your hole he'll fire it in anyways...
He probably made about 12 balls this weekend that were literally in Davids whole..he knows what to do with those titties....Anyways keep your eye out for this kid. David wouldn't play him even at the end of it all..

In the last year Justin has really kept the roads hot with nic vita alot of the time and he is starting to beat alot of champions. Zach is right he is someone to keep your eye on. tk
 
The guys from Texas don't seem to be doing so good as of late. Billy lost to Jessie and David lost to Justin. That open offer to come play some one-hole in Texas is almost sounding good to me at this point. lol. Of course, I might be able to bring someone that plays a little.

Way to ruin his action. I'm sure these players (both of whom are infinitely better than you) truly appreciate you representing them and running your mouth about their business, in the open. You should crawl in a 'whole' and shut it. Moron.

No why would I ....I didn't know him when he came and I still don't...David is our player and I just wanted to post that there was finally some action in Dallas

Its tough to understand you.You finally get action and then you knock it?You beg for people to call you and then you get on here and post off stuff about it.Your taking the wrong angle man.You need to step back from the tree and see the forest.
 
I guess its just me then...you just let the whole world know how Justin played a known commodity in David G... Personally, I would have not said anything.

im guessing you are very young and probably dont understand that you are knocking a unknown player with tons of potential action in the near future and your piss poor attitude about matching up and gambling is the main reason people havent been to dallas to gamble with you,not because of fear for your local champ!

Thie discussion and dissemination of pool related information is the purpose of this forum. Only the forum owner and moderators have the right to dictate content and that is the end of the story.

The debate over whether outing a road-runner is unethical has been a common topic here and there are basically 2 schools of thought:
Knock- they are sneaking around and stealing, why should they be protected?
Don't knock- they are just trying to make a living.

I guess if I were a road player and I heard that Dallas was a good spot to get a game, I might not choose to partake if a local yahoo would go straight on line a bust my action for the next year by telling everyone how I took it down. gpeezy hit that nail right on the head. Weird cat we have here.
 
First, it's good to hear there is action in Dallas, can't wait to check out that new room and see these guys play....

Second, I'm trying to figure out how this is gonna kill either of their action :confused: If nothing else, doesn't it promote more games their way.....ie, people hear about them, know they can get a guy that's willing to do more than just woof, but he wants to gamble......doesnt' that draw action :confused:

Either way, glad to hear their are some dollars flowing in Big D....

Thank you for outlining the two 'basic schools of thought' which are complete opposites and, together, cover the entire spectrum of possibilities. You have clarified the issue of being able to:

a. Do something.
b. Not do something.

Brilliant.

No one was debating the legality of making such a post in this forum. The right to the freedom of expressing one's thoughts is not in question here. However, there is no point abusing that right. Just because you 'can' doesn't mean you 'ought to.'

The way I see it, he's not doing anyone a favor by making this public; no one good enough to play Justin is going to be swayed by a random nobody. Does it concern him at all? No. He is just trying to set himself in a position of pseudo-authority.

If you feel such a strong need to barge into people's affairs, go write for a tabloid.
 
Well, personally I like to hear about it before it bites me in the ass. If I hear of a great roadie that is up and comming and has quite a bit more game than advertised, it makes me happy to know I heard it first here and what I can expect. After I get the scoop then I can either play with the weight needed, or I can sic him on people I despise and laugh and bet it up on the side as he ass rapes them. :D
