Kamui tip, I just tried one.can't believe it !

Not yet..........

Geno is the new DVD done yet ?

Hi there,

Iwas trying to finish it when I was in Minneapolis.

I am in Milwaukee right now. I work for the cable company as a contractor. I'll be here for about 6 months.

The good news is I will be working on it in about 2 weeks again.

No time table right now. Just need to keep plugging away.

Got some serious help here in Milwaukee.

The idea is to make it so mostly everyone can learn it from the video. I've changed the one scene in the video 3 times.

Need to get it right. As Perfect as possible.

Have a great day Geno.........

Kamui soft

I was just like a lot of people on here. Die hard Triangle man all the way for years..... Didn't think I ever needed anything else.

Kamui tips are the real deal. It is not hype. They are the best tip ever made period. The chalk works well too, but I like my Blue Diamond.

Had a black soft put on in Miami, sort of out your way. Very impressive on my Shurtz. Got a new custom cue and believe it came with a triangle, so I asked my tip guy But all he had was a brown soft I think he said. He said they played about the same. BULL. That brown plays about like a triangle. I hate paying big bucks for tips. Not so much the money, just the principle. Gotta have that k soft. Most impressive tip I have ever seen!

just like all trends that have came and gone, once the newest hyped tip rolls onto the market you will all move on and trash talk kamui just like what happened to moori.

ill stick to my trusty triangles

Kamui tip

Geno, I agree with you that a low deflection shaft ( I have a 314-2 with a Kamui medium tip, haven't tried the Black yet) is great. I never need to shape it but I rough up the tip every month or so because I think I should. It is obvious that Mosconi could be as good with any equipment but it is the advantage of the confidence that builds in you with the right stuff that makes you even play better. Just like golf clubs, when you get the right combination for your swing ( like the Ping G10 hybids because they are not hook faced and I am a draw player) I am taking it low now with confidence that the left side is out of play so to speak. My miss is not as critical! All I need is some Perfect Aim and I will be a monster! ( In my own mind)

Geno,

Did you try any of the other Kamui tips before settling with the Kamui Brown Med? If so, which ones and what were your thoughts?

Hi there,

I need to wait until this thing gets down there but it has lasted already longer than any tip I've ever had and still plays pretty good. It's lost a little of it's bounce but still not too bad.

I tried moris but I had alot of miscues when they started wearing down a little. That was with a conventional shaft so it might not be a fair comparison.

I'm going to try the kamui black. Jesse is using it and he said it is the nutz. It grabbed pretty good when I used his cue, in fact maybe too good.

Bottom line is I don't know how it can get any better than what I got on right now. The combination of the kamui with the 314-2 predator is an awsome fit for me.

I can't imagine anyone not liking the kamui. It's like the best La Pro I've ever had on in my life.

In the 80's and 90's when I got a good La Pro I would just try to keep it good for as long as I could. It was money in the bank.

That's how I feel about this for sure.

Best answer I can give.
