Karl Boyes beats JA

Dammit!!!!!!!!

I'm afraid it's too early to lose and still have a reasonable chance of coming back to win...:(

Karl Boyes is a great player, but he really must have played lights out to win against Johnny.

He can still do it

I don't think it's ever a wise move to count Johnny out, there's not many in the sport who can grind better, it's gonna be tough but if anyone could come back and win its Johnny

Johnny, Shane, or Earl are my picks too win this year

It was a great match, worthy of a Finals. That's how it is at the Open, so many good matches between great players. Parica was impressive defeating Ricky Yang 11-10. And our man Donnie Mills took down an always tough Tommy Kennedy 11-7.

Everyone says Johnny plays slow, but it never bothers me. He is the consumate professional, the way he analyzes each shot and executes with precision. Johnny is more than just a poolplayer. He is a professional who works hard at his profession, always trying to do his best on every shot and in every match. There is a good reason he is entering the Hall Of Fame this week!

This is only a mild upset, as Karl is an exceptional player. Earlier this year, Karl came within a whisker of beating Pagulayan out of a TV spot at the Predator ten ball event in Las Vegas. so his form this year appears solid. English players Appleton, Boyes, and Majid all had top ten finishes at that event, and they are all undefeated to this point of the US Open.

Johnny is usually a terror when he goes over to the one-loss side. Let's see what happens.

JA is here to win, He wants to win this tournment more than any other tournment in his life-and thats alot of tournments. He wants this so much he will be just fine, infact its a blessing in discuise, because now he has alot more matches to play and less distractions. I aint a bit worried about it one bit. I know more than I can say about this, so pls take my word for it.

GO JA!!!!!!!!!!!
