Kasidokostas magic !!

Amazing, and it all seemed so logical and easy. Incredible video, especially since he did it against Jaspers, who seems to be on the verge of running a 30 in competition after running a few 20's last year.

Wow.

Thanks.

Wow.Who is this guy?All Jaspers could do was sit there and cry. This guys cue ball had nothing but eyes for his big ball. What was this guys average?Jaspers played a 4.666 a few weeks ago if i'm not mistaken.I hope we will be seeing more of his talent in the future.

Stepping up to the plate when you need to! Wow, what a great video for all to admire.

One thing that I noticed is that he seemed to be playing position by returning all the balls to the middle of the table. Not too many "leave it big in the corner" shots.

I watched it again and I see what you said Bob.He sure likes those backup shots to bring the balls to center table.I also noticed that he's playing against a shot clock. No wonder he was shaking.

He's been around forever, World Junior Champ, 2001 2002 2003, runner up in the World Championships to Sayginer in 2003 at the age of 19
runner up in World Championships to Jaspers in 2004 won the World Championship in 2009 won Harada World Cup in 2010 , w/ numerous very high finishes in other W.CUPS.

Good point. Just looking at the rails: I counted 2 reverse english contacts (on the first double the rail shot), followed by 70 naturals in this run of 21. Seems like playing position for "the big ball in the corner" is like playing position for only one more... Kasidokostas is doing it Sang Lee style: break safe, then open up the table, controlled speed, stay close to the third ball and "natural" his opponent to death.

I didn't see any "backup" shots in this run. All natural rail contacts. The young Greek players always seem to play fast.

Sorry Ira.I thought a back up was when your cue ball missed the object ball going into a corner you had a second chance when it came out.Maybe you could explain.I don't play at a level anywhere near the pros so I have to assume that there was a lot more going on than I was comprehending.

Not quite that fast Ira, I had to shave seconds off between points so the video wouldn't go over 10 minutes...

No prob, illusive. The term "back up" usually refers to shots where the last two rails are reverse english...

Imo he plays many dessins like Blohmdal used to play, too. If he s in really in good stroke he also is going to "just" make more points than his opposite. anyway hard to play defensive on that level. let s wait what this guy will show in the next years :-). Impressive!

I tried to look at the video be the site said it was not available. Would appreciate it if you have another site I can see.
