Has anyone bought or played with a KC cue before. I see them on ebay. Would it be worth trying for 39.99 dollars + shipping?

I currently play with a KC rosewood sneaky pete with the shaft re-sanded and with an instroke tip. It hits em ok. I have placed second in a big tourney about 5 years ago. They are not made in usa, they have to be made in china. Another one I had, was a southwest style and it played pretty good too but it eventually warped. I don't leave my cues in the car and I take good care of them. Take it for what it's worth. they are cheap and dont expect them to last.
I bought one with 2 shafts for playing pool in the bar league we play in. Not a bad deal for $120 shipped. Its ebony into rosewood, sneaky pete style, I hits ok, I new LBM ferrule and a kamui med/soft on the shaft I use all the time. it hits better then the stock shaft, I also took about a 1/2 mm off and extended the tapet a bit further back. Not bad for a overseas made cue. I thought about a 314 shaft for it if I keep it.

For $39 I hope you aren't expecting much. I think when these cues were discussed before someone said that KC stood for Komplete Crap. Try one. It may be the best cue you have ever had. It isn't as if you are spending thousands and it is very rewarding when you beat someone that has a much more expensive cue. If you don't like it you can always use it as a house cue for visitors.

I have a sneaky pete style KC. The cue hits decent for how cheap it was but the shaft ended up warping. Mine has a pretty good roll, and this was before I started leaving it in the trunk of my car.
