Okay....another ho-hum cue from Shurtz Cues.........NOT!
The joint protectors are so cool and like I once previously commented, Mr. Owen has to also be
a heck of a cartoonist to be able to make those protectors. And using dice for the rings was a nice
touch and really consistent with the cue's Gambler Theme.
The veneers are beautiful and everything is as sharp pointed as a syringe, if that appeals to you
as much it does me. I also think adding the suits of cards to the bars in the butt sleeve was just
masterful and it really completes the design really well.
There are a lot of heralded cue-makers that do not immediately come to mind when you gather
with your pool buddies and discuss cue-makers. Then someone brings up a cue-maker that
someone in the group has firsthand experience or else shows you a photo of a cue on their
smartphone. And in turn everyone starts discussing that cue-maker and blah blah blah.
Well, all I can say is there are no blah blah blahs when you see the cues that Bob has posted
over the last year in the Cue Gallery Section of this Forum. Nope...no chit chat or blah blah
blah conversations about his cues......instead, just a lot of "Oohs and Aahs".

I got to play with this cue yesterday. As I expected (I already have a box cue from Bob) it plays better than it looks--no, I think it looks better--no it plays better no...LOL! It looks and plays fantastic!!!
I heard a rumor that Bob has a few Monsters coming soon--not for me. Can't wait to see them.
