Kersenbrock Cue Question

I posted this question on another board; I have 2 questions aboout a cue.

1) What would you look for, as far as identifiing a KERSENBROCK cue?
2) Who would you recommend to build a replacement shaft?
3) Do they have a visible weight bolt?

It is being bought by a friend of mine. He has had the cue for several days, but only called me today...JER

Jer, I have seen two from the 1980's, both had epoxy sealed weight bolts that were inside a Phenoilc Tube like the South West cues. One cue was purchased on Ebay in 2004 by a local as an unknown cue for $850. The other I have seen was definately from the Mid-1980's and it was purchased from Kersenbrock by the current owner who is still the original owner. This cue also had a dimple in the end of the pin, I suspect this was so that the Pin could be used as the cues center.

I would also say Ed Young would be the person to build a new shaft for the cue, and while the cue is there Paul could also authenticate it for the new owner.
