CUE IS NO LONGER FOR SALE YOU HAD A CHANCE SORRYHi everybody,
for sale is a Kersenbrock I love and need to sell due to the fact I want to quit playing for a while.
The more I play pool the more I like the DPK and I keep getting into fight with my girlfriend.I figured I sell the cue and I don't wanna play that much.

I'm selling my very favorite cue Kersenbrock dated 1978 and coming with a letter from Laurie Franklin.

The cue is in 98% with the original wrap and shafts.
Butt is a solid one piece of South American Cangalo Alvis wood with beautiful details which is very rare for alvis wood,butt cap is a zebra wood no bumper though you can put one easily.
The cue is perfectly straight with one of the shafts and has just a little bitt slaightest wo with the other ,otherwise both shafts and butt are straight apart.

Butt:15.86 Oz
Both shafts are 13.05mm and weight 3.28 Oz

I know I'm gonna regret but I love my girl more than I love pool.

Sorry to hear you're letting the cue go, Vass. I remember you told me how much you liked it, and that was the reason you sold the SW cues you had.

Hope all turns out well for ya....and your girl should be eternally thankful that you let something like this go.
 
She deserves it and I stay playing pool till a very morning,next day I cannot do business cause I'm tired.

I think I'm doing the right decission.

Love the cue, but....

Dump the girl and keep the cue.

Cues are harder to come by than girls.

I said it before and I'll say it again. This cue is a monster. Solid player. The buyer will NOT be disappointed.

I'll say only one thing I have played with many high end cues and there is nothing like this.

wow dude, a little malicious don't you think? Did he spike you on a deal in the past or something? or are you just an angry little troll? I'm really curious... not trying to insult anyone.
 
Sounds like somethin' personal to me, too.

Vass has sealed up deals with several folks here on the boards....and not one mention, that I recall, of anything less than stellar communication and service on his part.

Then you have a new guy show up and sharp-shoot not only the cue, but Vass, on a personal level.

Sounds like ALOT more than just general observation to me.....more like coming across with some kind of agenda.

FYI, Backcut.....there are PLENTY of people (myself included) that have bought and sold cues on a VERY regular basis. It's what we enjoy, and hurts absolutely NOBODY in the process. Why such heartache with a man selling a cue he really likes, based upon his desire to pay more attention to his woman?????

I'm sure lots of us would like to know......

It seems that every cue Vass brings on AZ is the bomb digity when he gets it. It also seems that the cue is for sale shortly afterwards. HMMMMMM!

Do you think that Vass getting 4th out of 64 in a tourney makes the cue any more special.. It's not the arrow, it's the indian.

I realize that Kershenbrock made a fantastic cue, but that is still up to the player.. Congats to Vass for having owned so many of the FINEST hitting cues on the planet. What a lucky dude he must be..

Good luck with selling this one with another persons initials?? I am sure you'll find a sucker somewhere..

This is the type of post that should be deleted by our moderators. Serves absolutely no constructive purpose. Have never bought a cue from Vass but he always seems to have nice stuff and who care why he is selling it. It's for sale and if you don't like the price make him an offer in a PM. Like momma always said if you have nothing nice to say keep your mouth shut. The exception being if there was fraud or dishonest selling which is not the case here.
 
And what's the big deal with having someone's name or intials on a collectible cue? I have Palmers that have names in the windows, and a Tad that had a name on the butt, as well as a couple of old Brunswicks that have names in the MOP wedge at the bottom... I'd kinda like to have a window Bushka with somebody's name in it...

As the above posters commented, Vass is a great guy, too! I'd say we might have a little personal agenda involved with the "less than positive post"...

Long story short, Backcut shouldn't have made the comments that he did. They were out of left field and completely uncalled for. But the more we talk about, the more we take away from the issue:

Vass is selling an incredible cue by perhaps the greatest cuemaker of all time... and he's practically giving it away at that price!!! If I had the cash, I would take it myself!!! Sadly, I'm broke.

SOMEONE SHOULD GRAB THIS CUE WHILE THEY CAN!!!
