Hi everybody this is Kevin's wife. He asked me to make this post. As a few of you know he was in the hospital late last week with a pretty bad stomach virus. They had released him and we thought he was ok. Well he passed out last night in the shop so he's readmitted now. They say he's fine that he was just dehydrated. They are going to keep him for a day or maybe two just for observation and to get some fluids in him. He has several cues finished and some repair work that will be shipped out as soon as he's released. We just wanted to let everyone know the situation so no one would panic because he'll be out of touch for a short bit.
Thanks.

I don't know Kevin, but I wish him a speedy recovery. It's very nice of you to post on here for him.

I don't have a cue on order or anything...but I found this post enlightening. The man cares enough about customer relations to ask his wife to post?

Kevin, get well soon. Take your time doing so. No more relapses, okay?

When he was finishing my cue he fell down his shop steps and dislocated his shoulder... the guy just has bad luck lol. Get well soon Kevin :)

Best of luck for the recovery, and what a great guy to inform about any delays due to this.

I hope you didn't bring the dog with you!

Mrs. Varney, I am tardy sending some work out to Kevin, so I guess we're on the same wave length. I'll wait until next week to ship it out. Kev, hope you get back on your feet quickly, but just for the sake of feeling better. Plenty of time to catch up on work. Read another way, I can always play with another cue!

p.s. yes, its very encouraging to have someone think customer service!

Mrs. V, please tell Kevin we wish him well and a speedy recovery.

Best regards,
Scott

I don't know Kev and I don't know who from the Varney camp will be reading these responses; if anyone right now - but please pass my regards onto Kev.

Easy for me to say, but don't rush back to the shop too soon - just make sure you're right first.

I think its a mark of the man to be thinking about cues / orders and not letting people down ahead of his own health. Best Wishes and speedy recovery.

Get Well Soon, Kevin!

You are indeed the salt of the earth.

Mrs. V you are too!:)

My sympathies. We took our 38 year old son to the emergency room last Tuesday night. He had been throwing up so hard that he had chest pains and tingleing in his hands and feet. After about 45 minutes after the nurse took his vitals, he was told it would be a minimum of 6 hours before he would see a doctor. The other major hospitol was 8 hour wait. He went home and saw his own doctor the next afternoon, and was told that he had a severe stomach virus. He's about recovered, haven't talked to him yet today. The flu is keeping the ers full and if you need a doctor right away, better call an ambulance.
Best to Kevin and hopes for a speedy recovery!
