He seemed fine in March at Valley Forge. He was signing copies of his book.

Wow, I thought he looked terrible! I spoke with him at length one evening waiting for his room to open up. He was breathing quite heavily. For someone recovering from heart problems, he hasn't lost a pound:eek: . Perhaps I'm being to critical but.......

No offense, but I'd rather watch two goats fu#$. That double, triple, quadriple looking over the table each and every shot would drive me crazy.

I agree, DoubleJ was the slowest player I have ever meet until I meet Danny.:boring2: :boring2: :boring2:

The last I read, he's been floating around NJ giving lessons but not playing much, hoping his movie goes into production.

I heard he was wearing a grey t-shirt with Goodyear on it at sporting events:grin: .

Before anyone gets upset over me calling KD large, I am fat as well so fat guys can call other fat guys fat. It is in the fat guy hand book.

No Offense, but you may not use "Danny" and "float" in the same sentence.

Danny's heart attack was due to his sleep apnea. Sure, he weight doesnt help his cause... but he looks like he has looked most of his life.

Who can find the pic of when he won the big trophy? Must have been 10-15 yrs ago. I would think he was 170 lb, tops, at tthat opoint..

Actually, Walter, Danny was somewhat thin for a short time. I think the pic you are thinking of was when he beat Alain Martel at a Joss stop.

He was a chubby teen, got thin-ish, then put it back on. He's the heaviest he's ever been, now.

Nice guy, good heart.

Danny is a nice guy and a good player, but one must possess the ability to focus intensly and for very loooooooooong periods of time to appreciate his game. :D

You are correct. The photo of Danny winning the Joss stop was here in Rochester at Classic Billiards. We still have a copy on the wall. I don't know his weight. Definitely below 200 pounds. I saw him in Vegas two months later. He weighed at least 275.

I was not aware of his sleep apnea. My best friend suffered for way too many years. He was even larger than Danny!
