Here are few pics of Kim Davenport's black latchless Sunburst Fellini. Well it was his until earlier today. It is not every day you see a latchless style Fellini. He definately took very good care of her over the past thirty something years.

It's alright......
If you're into very rare, beautiful, elegant and really unique things.
Congrats Rik

I just sold one just like this except mine had tooling at the top and bottom.......and a latch. Great pickup buddy.

Rik,

That's the first one I've seen without a latch. Looks like it's in great shape.

I have a smooth black one in very nice condition that is latchless for sale. It has become slightly loose, but if you rotate the cap it is fine. It is an older one with the zig zag stitching on the label. Ordered custom from one of my friends. I will see if I can find pics of it. Let me know if you consider this hijacking and I will remove. Very nice case, and quite rare.

That's an awesome case! Don't hardly see any latchless Fellini cases to start with, much less a Sunburst!

very nice case great find. Tell Kim to smile its only a pool case:D what kind of cue was in it?

I'm curious as to where the sunburst fits in??
With the all Black color on this case, it's hard to see the design. The picture below shows the design better. It's the same design as the 2nd case from the right & the 2nd case from the left.

BTW, I'd give BIG money for the second one on the right.

Hey Rik, does the case have the AG ( Ann Gore) initials at the bottom of the Sunburst design? Could you snap a pic if it does?

I did not see an AG anywhere around the Sunburst design.

Who have you been talking too? How do you know that I purchased a cue with the case?:D All I am willing to say is that it was an ivory jointed custom cue made during the seventies.

I don't play fair and I don't share all my toys.

I know Kim for 23 years, he ALAWY dresses sharp. Nice case.

When are you coming back to GEORGIA? I am actually pushing Kim into playing a little bit. Or he is pushing me into racking more. I have decided yet.
Yea, he has no problem sporting those bright colored slacks. You know the ones I am talking about. He is not lacking in confidence on the table or in his style.
