Jason Kirkwood 7 vs Bart Goode 0.....Bart lost the flip and never got to the table. Kirkwood showed great talent and ran the set out to leave Goode wondering how he lost the coin flip! As word spread throughout the Break Room, the table was surrounded by onlookers wondering if Goode would get to shoot at all. After shaking hands, Goode asked the crowd how he could lose but never miss a ball!

Bart was to have his revenge in the main event, putting down a 5 pack to win and leaving Jason on the hill!

This was a great tournament for this area and I am looking forward to many more.

Last weekend, at the Battle of Los Angeles, Rafael Martinez put an 8-Pack on Ismael Paez from the flip. 8-0 before "Morro" got out of his seat. The final score was 11-2.

Oh yeah, it was 9-Ball.

And that's on a super tight Gold Crown! "ERNESTO TIGHT" we call them around here.

How many times did Morro change shafts during Rafael's run?

I miss watching Morro jump up and down during shots or yelling "ARIBA!!" when breaking, some classic stuff right there.

Just a note to all how watch the videos that have been posted.

The camera's memory card filled during the 7th game with 4 balls remaining, JK made the cross corner bank on the 3 ball and completed the run.

Also, this was my first attempt at shooting video of pool matches and I came unprepared, no tripod. The camera was hand held and later balanced on the butt of a house cue for support.

The match before JK vs BG, was JK vs AS and the battery died!

This was definitely a learning experience for me and I look forward to doing more and making improvements.
