I don't think he would have sent the CB to open table if he was trying anything safe at all.

I think he was playing the combo and we have to remember he plays far better than we do. if he sees the line the ob ball needs to travel, he can send it thatta way. Don't bet otherwise!

Another option is the cardone theory that sometimes the likelihood of positive outcome is so low, you don't fight this rack and save the fight for the next one...maybe mickey closed one eye and hit it with high fukitol spin.

Scratching in the side pocket on the missed carom combo, shows me how aggressive he felt.

Let's see a 1959 or 60 Volkswagen beetle. 4 of us in the car. We scored 2 outasight Tai Sticks. Oh yeah long sticks with the bud wrapped with string. Some called them tied sticks. 🤷‍♂️ 10 bucks Each! The shit was so good that we smoked one and lost the other 🤷‍♂️ IN A BUG!!!!!

The 2 young road player apprentices from Seattle on their maiden voyage were passing through....uh Texas. They got stopped by a stater . Probably the Washington plates. They got the deluxe shake down. The alert trooper had detected the scent of MARIJUANA.!!! It could have fit right in with Up In Smoke.
So the astute officer located the lug nut from a semi, that had held their stash. It was empty 🤷‍♂️ So he holds it under the first apprentice is nose and asks, "what's that smell like?" .......First apprentice 🤷‍♂️.....So now Officer Detector starts the same routine with the other. He interrupts with. "Yeah officer that's where we keep our weed. We are from Seattle and accustomed to the KGB (killer green bud for the un). We are all out! No way are we spending money on the Texas Dirt weed you have down here.
He cracked deputy dogs nut!
Oh he Cracked a Smile INVOLUNTARILY (kind a like basic training) He paused thought....stepped back and motioned.. "Get outta here " head shaking and smiling now.
So the moral of the story has to do with interstellar communication. You know one tribe to another. Shrug 🤷‍♂️ well that's what I got 😉 Both are successful business men by now that kept pool as a hobby.

Looked like a slight miss calculation to me. Playing at that level requires skills that???? Well kinda like the race car drivers.
The numbers guys might be able to diagram the attempt. It looked to me to be a slight miss calculations. Ooops I already said that. 😉
 
I am a sucker for the ticky. I don't know why, I am about 90% to miss the damned things! Looking at the overhead view, if they would let me climb up on the light for a better look I would have went in the side. I didn't even consider the combination until after I saw him shoot it. I dunno, I think I could make the ticky.
