Add collects... and shipping also duties then what if theres a problem your left holding your ---- in your hands??? your shipping back overseas hoping you get some satisfaction when the whole deals done you spend more in the long run.. as far as choices....some people here always make the wrong one.

i think i remeber reading that they make somne smaller units that still have plenty of power,maybe 850w or even smaller.they should be cheaper.

that is plenty at over 1hp.my NSK is only .46 hp at 350w and the load meter never registers over the first notch.Alex has the .75hp ELTE and it will take huge cuts all day long.

Chris, Kress did make a 110v model however they no longer do. Techno Isle had some though I doubt they still do and they aren't cheap.

I went to there store the colects are 45.00 us dollars each
the routers buy it now $306.00 us dollars now there collects are $45.00 us dollars each!!!!
thats $396.00 there shiping was 29.35 GBP and 3.20 GBP for each collect
well with out figuring the rate of shipping in us dollars your close to $430.00
and still dealing with someone overseas
id say your other choice post is a sack of sh--.

I get tired of your un-knowledgeable digs every time i post something you should use that effort to improve your products theres nothing wrong with mine even though you always seem to think so. i might be out of line but I'm saying whats on my mind like it or not....your always knocking my posts and products
you should take a good look at yours first.
 
all i did was suggest to Scott that there may be another option than the 1050w that is cheaper,and comment on your comments to KJ.never anything negative about your router,but i'll stay out of your threads Lee,and take a good look at my work too.

I have researched this myself. Lee is the cheepest show in town on these routers. I will agree with him that as long as you are spending that much on a Kress 800w router spindle you might as well get the Kress 1050w with a little extra power for the slight difference of about $20 us dollars. It is possible to get the router cheaper but this shipping will eat you alive. Add the collets and you are way above $350. My question is to those that already have one like Joei, how does this router comare to say a Porter Cable?

Jim I put a lot of time in researching these routers and getting them here the most economical way possible. Of course eBay used routers will be less
and for some that may do. All I am saying you get what pay for in this world. At $350.00 some here think I am making a killing not true less then $ 40.00,as for all my products there priced reasonable for example the new CNC for under $3000.00 my intent was to help others achieve the goal in doing inlays and doing CNC work. At that price I don't make much, just take the Align-rite for instance there profit is huge(never hear any complaints on that) I know just what takes to produce that machine under $6000.00 and selling for over $1400.00 now theres a profit!!! I am not saying anyone shouldn't make money we all should . my products a well made and priced to be affordable by all ...........Lee
 
Lee, Are these routers close enough in tolerance for CNC milling or do you need to have a seperate spindle.
