Landon Shuffett Analysis AS REQUESTED

This guy doesn't deserve this attention. Landon is building character and the creep is exposing his character...he has to live with himself but we don't.......
After reading this entire thread I have concluded several things. Truly he has exposed his character which others already knew. I never want anything to do with Tim or his school. Instead of self promoting I believe he self destructed.

If everyone here is so concerned about thinking Stan and Landon should have this site then, maybe you all could chip in a bit and buy it for him. Actions do speak louder than words. I don’t have a habit of working for free anymore. Current price is $9700 to cover my costs and time right now. Will increase over time.

.
I would say that The AOsyster will not be working at all if he doesn't learn some people skills!! :o

Landon can get the domain just as Jeanette did.

Thanks for sharing. This article can be very helpful to a good player here in NYC.

A picture of Landon playing legendary Buddy Hall from Derby City this year:

Let me give you a news flash...stroke mechanics are overrated!....some...have some of the most unorthodox strokes you have ever seen. It is consistancy...period. Doesn't matter how you get from A to B...as long as you can do it with repeated results.

You said it, Baby Cakes! :)

I've seen many a player with the most perfect stroke you ever laid your eyes on, but when it came to strategy, playing defensively or offensively, know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em, know when to walk away -- oh, wait, that's another game -- and executing shots consistently, a perfect textbook stroke won't always get you there. :p

As stated previously in the thread, strokes are acquired and sometimes may be unique. It doesn't mean an unorthodox stroke is wrong if it can carry you to the winner's circle from time to time. :D

And further, getting from A to B is not as important as getting from A to B to C to D and knowing what shot D will be before you shoot A!

I am just disappointed cause as this young man gets older, he may want to do his own website...geez...talk about cold blooded! Tim is not only cheating out Landon, he is also cheating out all of us for not being able to read what the young man may want to say. I would love to read a blog or two from Landon myself.

Landon can get another website. Somebody's got Keith McCready's name as a website, and it is a 3-cushion website, a game I've never even see Keith play, though I think he could hold his own on the pocketless table! :p

Let me think of a cool website name for Landon. Maybe LandonShuffett.NET or LandonShuffett.BIZ or Landon-Shuffett.COM. There's more than one way to skin a cat, I say! :D

I always heard that you [AOyster] were queer (odd, weird) and you prove it more with every post. How can you say that your time is so valuable that you need to charge $9700 for something in which you say you have so little time invested. It seems that all you did was buy the domain name. And I hear you have plenty of time on your hands now.

Perhaps you can itemize the $9700 that you feel that you have invested in the site. Then maybe we on the site can consider why you should be paid so handsomely. I feel that a more appropriate name might be the "Australian Leech".

Couldn't have said it better....

It's all good. I don't think this website thing is going to hold back Landon's career. The Shuffets can sue the Oyster if they want that domain name, or they can simply choose another domain as Landon's official site. I'm not saying they shouldn't be annoyed, but personally, I'd rather let the domain go than to pay off the Oyster to get it back.

I wouldn't just type in a URL without knowing what's on there anyway. If you want to find someone's site, use Google or another search engine. Guessing and typing in a URL is a good way to end up on a skeezy porn site and/or to get infected by a bunch of spyware, etc.

What's a leech?

Check this out:

Definitions of leech on the Web:

* carnivorous or bloodsucking aquatic or terrestrial worms typically having a sucker at each end
* a follower who hangs around a host (without benefit to the host) in hope of gain or advantage
* bleed: draw blood; "In the old days, doctors routinely bled patients as part of the treatment"

I have trouble fathoming how sorry some people can really be. You don't see anything wrong with exploiting a 12 year old child to somehow validate you as an instructor? And then you attempt to justify taking the kid's name by saying you gave his father some time to register it at one point in time. You almost seem as if you are bragging about it. This is probably one of the lowest things I have heard of in a pool related setting, and that is saying quite a bit.

You are truly a low class individual and I hope you reap all the benefits of your actions.

BTW- Having seen the integrity that Landon and his father exude, I realize Stan may take the high road in this situation so as not to glorify you in any way. I, on the other hand, am perfectly fine telling you what a piece of trash I think you are.

Stan,
I hope to see you and Landon this weekend at Diamonds. I hope you can make it.

...Disagree you may!

I'm having a little trouble understanding what you are trying to relay. Is what you are saying that you want the Shuffetts to give you some money?

Maybe you should have read this more clearly… I very super clearly am way beyond the extreme of this in the opposite direction. It is all good faith… not one single bit bad at all. If anyone sees anything bad about what I do, then they clearly 100% do not know me what-so-ever. You won’t find any post of mine negative to anyone on purpose and if anyone took anything negative, I am sorry!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Assume_good_faith
This is clearly my intention. And Profit… Hardly!! I spend and spent hundreds of hours and lots of money over the past 4 years on this all with…. Super Great Intentions!

Nothing I have ever posted here was in bad faith to anyone. Helping others is the foundation for exactly what I do each and every day. I am not making a fortune doing this, it is all because of what I love and am good at. Thankfully, I made enough on real estate investing to be able to do this. And to the comment of “those who can’t do, teach”. I play and teach very well, so that doesn’t refer to me. I don’t play out in public because I won’t endanger my life breathing in smoke. One must choose either to teach or play. The mindset in each is very different. One projects knowledge the other uses it.

Comments based on criticism can only come from critics. Having an opinion is one thing but remember no one ever in the history of mankind has ever erected a monument to a critic.

And by the way, the contract I have with the Shuffett’s clearly states the direction I am going. It was agreed upon by all of us in the beginning and signed. I am not doing anything that wasn’t agreed upon. Again, what I am displaying is filled with the most good intentions one could have and if there is anything that is on the site that is negative please let me know I will change it right away. It is only in the best interest of all, especially myself that Landon truly succeed in his goals. I pray for nothing less!

I committed over $30,000 in 2003-2004 when I took on the guidance of Landon in 2003 as the Shuffett’s wanted. I did everything and more in producing, editing, filming, marketing, teaching, printing, duplicating, etc. etc., all within our signed agreement. Now as times change people want to move on, that is all fine. No problem here. I just want what would be fair. Cover a portion of my costs and we can all move on. This is my life not my hobby, as many here. Nothing personal, just business.

This post just started as a simple view of current and past information. If one can bring out such negative from that, then maybe criticizing others is a step down from priorities.

Disagree you may!

Disagree I do, and I still think you're an a$$hole, smoke or no smoke.

Ding Ding Ding Ding Ding...........

Mr. Oyster proudly states that his earnings in other endeavors have enabled him to devote time and resources to teaching, etc. For his sake, I hope his nest egg holds up. After taking on the collective membership of AZB and CCB, not to mention showing his a$$, he's going to need it!

That seems to be an incredible statement. Have you literally spent "hundreds of hours" specifically developing that http://www.landonshuffett.com/ website?

If so, it sure doesn't look like it.

Somehow I have my doubts that Landon Shuffett would be enthused to see this page:

http://www.landonshuffett.com/DestroySmoking.htm

PS: I agree with the sentiments here. You are annoying, a self-serving shill, and your website about Landon is the worst kind of cyber-squatting.

No wonder the Shuffetts broke with him. Seems like he's really into porn, or what's the deal?

Folks, no need to check out that webpage... it's trash.
