I am placing an order tomorrow for the tip tool, and a new shaft burnisher.. I had just one question, does anyone know the difference between the "Pro" model as opposed to the regular aluminum model? They look the same to me, but the price difference says otherwise.

As always, thanks for any input y'all.

I make them and I prefer the regular model. The "pro" model was done to meet requests for silicon carbide abrasive. While some clearly prefer it, I much prefer and personally use the standard aluminum tool.

The Pro Model is a pain to make thus the higher price.

Best,

I used the Willard shaper for years and bought the Last4Ever regular Aluminum model about 6 months ago. I still carry the Willard in my cue case, but haven't used it since I bought the Last4Ever. Just a terrific tool. You'll be very happy with it.

Ditto on that sentiment.
Best tip tool out there.

Great post. We like honesty (says the King). I want one!

Same here. Best tip tool on the market by far.

Keep up the great work, Joel!

Here's my Last4Ever Review and Marketing Photo Shot.

But, bear in mind, I also am using the Pocket Lathe. And if you didn't get one of these, maybe you should!!!

This happened to be a shaft that I put a phenolic ferrule/tip on for breaking. I'm now experimenting with putting a leather tip on it (some rulez don't permit phenolic tip). I don't have my lathe anymore (still back in Mass), so I whipped out the Pocket Lathe and Last4EVer to work on this tip.

let me give my review of this tool aswell, I bought this tool, the nickle one, and let me tell you, it is the best tool I have ever used in my life, my friends loved it, and I purchased 4 of them later on, 2 dime, 2 nickle.

I believe that this it the only tool you would ever need, it does everything, and better of it all that the tool would never ever fail to do the shape perfect, I mean ever, its always contestant on doing the same exact 100% shape that was done previously, so I'm so used to that specific shape and I love the tool.

Thank you for creating it.

Thanks to all

I really appreciate the great comments. Over the past three years I have shipped to just about every state in the US and I am up to 12 countries ranging from Europe to Asia and beyond

My biggest thrill comes from when I'm watching a steamed event and see someone pull one out during a match. It is also pretty cool when I get approached in pool rooms when someone points me out as the tip tool guy. I now carry a supply in my car for on the spot demand

Watch for my banner behind the streaming table at the upcoming tournament at Four Bears Casino.

Thanks again

Joel

i couldn't decide if i wanted to try the nickle or dime tool so i ordered both and i agree these are the best tip tools i have ever owned

all the best,
smokey
