The Last3ever tip tool really is INCREDIBLE!

Does the website have a video of the various ways you can use the Last4ever in maintaining your cue tip?

hi joel, whats the lifespan of this tool given that I use it regulary for my cues and friends cue, say that I use it once a day, or every other day, to take down few layers of tips, as you can see i bought mine in 2013 and it still works, but do you think that the material thats in the curvey side have a lifespan which in this case i need to buy another one?

I just got mine a few days ago. I have to say that after over 40 years of playing and using different tools, this is truly the easiest and best tool to get a nice shape on your tip.

I got the nickel radius just because I'm old school and had been using a tip tapper and rasp for god knows how long and I had gotten kind of used to having a flatter tip. This shaped my Ultraskin M up nicely, just as advertised, and I burnished it afterward using the leather side. Didn't realize what I'd been missing! Great spin and grab. Tried the scuffer today and it roughed up the glaze on the Triangle on my Huebler very nicely too.

Joel seems like a good guy and the tool's supposed to last "4ever" so how can you go wrong right?

Good to hear from you. Under normal use it should easily last for better than ten years if not twenty. I have never worn one out. I have had one returned for repairs and that was due to a commercial cue repair business using it on all their tip while the tip was spinning at speed on a lathe which burned the abrasive materials. I have since spoken with him and he now just uses it for final shaping by hand and has no problem. (he uses my 4 inch long 4 sided commercial tool)

The Aluminum Oxide abrasive used in my tool is designed to cut metal. You are using it on leather. More importantly, it is how you use it. I shape my tip when I first put it on and check it frequently the first month or so while it is settling in. I scuff my tip every day before I play & I alternate between rolling the flat side to break up any glazing with using the radius side "very lightly" to assure shape. If you use the shaper excessively every day all you are doing is removing perfectly good tip material.

Lastly, I like mine a little broken in where the abrasive is slightly less aggressive. Much like the Q-Wiz where I take two of them and rub them together to knock down the abrasive before I use them on my shaft.

Thanks for the support, hope that helps.

Joel

Also, if you become your room's tip shaper guy you can reduce the useful life. Tell your bud's that for the price of a couple of beers they can actually buy one :)

I was the guy who had the last forever needing to be repaired. We were indeed misusing the tool and joel fixed it for me. I have purchased about a dozen of his tools for myself, for my repair business, for fellow pool players, and for gifts.

Not only is it the best tool I have ever used, it is the best tool anyone that I have given personal belief as well. Joel is the best individual for customer service. If this isn't a gem in the pool world, I don't know one exists.

Great product, great seller, not much else can be asked. Joel, thanks for such a wonderful product! Each of my customers are excited the tip comes back with perfect shape, and ready to play.

I wasn't going to out you Steve... :)

I got mine a few days ago. It's the first tip tool that feels like a real tool, instead of a flimsy piece of metal or plastic. The shape of the tools makes more sense than the others I've used - previously used an Ultimate and a Cue Cube.

Lol its ok, in don't mind sharing my experiences for the greater good for other pool players!

If a pool player doesn't have this tool, he or she is missing the boat.

As others have noted, this is the best tip tool on the market and I do believe it will last forever, unless you lose it or someone steals it.
