Strange that Bustamonte, Efren, Mika getting action in California but all these AZ Billiard champions can't get a game.
In CA there is a gulf around the B level where it is nearly impossible to get a fair game. Either you are matched up with someone who would be considered a shortstop or better outside of CA or you don't get a game. The lower level players wont touch you and the players at your level want weight. I was there at one point. I got better.
CA has decent action for A level players looking to battle.
The Legends crew have no prob playing me. :smile:
Miami is the worst large city (1m + people) in the United States for pool. Hands down.
Did you know that Miami has exactly ZERO weekly tournaments? And its been that way for maybe 2 years now.
There were exactly ZERO 1k added or more events in Miami in the last two or three years? The only "added" money events were back about a year ago when they ran a once a month zero added 65 entry open event that raked money into a pot for a 1k added event. Of course, that event also died. The last time we had a pro open event was a TK 500 added event in 2012 and before that it was the Seminole Tour event at bird bowl in 2008. six years ago.
In fact the largest event that I know of recently in Miami was the 500 added, no entry fee event that APA held about 4-5 mos ago. They paid 16 or 24 places I think. First was 100 as I recall.

I have never seen you hit a ball and i will play you some one hole the weekend of the swannee. but i have one rule, you have to sit in your chair when it is not your turn and keep your mouth shut. SO i don`t see this game happening. But, if you want to play I will be there and I am not hard to find.

During the 70's and 80's it was known as the worst place in the nation for a road player to go. I always heard the same thing from players who went there. They all said it was full of people who did nothing but run out but would only bet five dollars a game.
